Primary objective of the job:

The Account Executive is a key member of the Trend Media team, responsible for managing client relationships and driving business growth. As an Account Executive, you will understand clients’ objectives and provide strategic guidance on digital and traditional marketing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with internal teams in Trend Media, to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and deliver exceptional results. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, serving as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
Understand clients’ business objectives, challenges, and target audience to develop effective digital and traditional marketing strategies.
Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and status updates to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Strategic Planning:
Identify opportunities to drive business growth and maximize ROI for clients through innovative marketing strategies.
Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices.
Campaign Management:
Coordinate with Trend Media’s internal teams (creative, social media, sales, paid media, etc.) to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
Oversee the implementation of campaigns, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Business Development:
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts to drive revenue growth.
Participate in sales presentations and proposal development, showcasing Trend Media’s capabilities and expertise.
Industry Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices.
Share knowledge and insights with internal teams, contributing to the agency’s continuous improvement and innovation.

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
Proven experience (2 – 4 years) as an Account Executive or similar role in a digital agency or marketing/advertising agency.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including but not limited to social media, SEO, paid advertising, content marketing, and email marketing.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

It is celebrated annually on May 30th. The history of Indian Arrival Day traces back to the 19th century when Trinidad and Tobago underwent significant demographic changes due to the abolition of slavery. After the emancipation of African slaves in 1834, there was a demand for labour in Trinidad and Tobago’s agricultural sectors, particularly in the sugar industry. The colonial authorities turned to India as a source of cheap and abundant labour to address this labour shortage. The British colonial government implemented a system of indentured labour, similar to the previous system of African slavery but with some legal differences. Under the indentured labour system, Indian labourers were recruited from various parts of India, primarily from the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Bengal, among others. They were promised work contracts, wages, housing, and provisions for a specific period, typically five years. In exchange, the labourers agreed to work on Trinidad’s plantations. The first ship carrying Indian indentured labourers, the Fatel Razack, arrived in Trinidad on May 30, 1845. This event marked the beginning of a mass influx of Indians into the country over the following decades.
