      The incumbent is required to provide strategic, operational and behavioural insights using descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics so that all company Lines of Business can improve the predictability and achievement of their objectives.

      JOB SUMMARY

      The incumbent is required to provide strategic, operational and behavioural insights using descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics so that all company Lines of Business can improve the predictability and achievement of their objectives.


      KEY FUNCTIONS

      • Responsible for assessing the feasibility of requests as well as review of applicable data sets.
      • Notify the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT) of a New Promotion/New Product or extension of a Promotion.
      • To increase the visibility of organizational performance and facilitate the increase of data-driven¬†by developing actionable insights and communicating the results via reports, ad hoc queries, scorecards and dashboards.
      • To substantiate revenue- and other- related strategies by employing appropriate algorithms (including predictive models) to empirically forecast results.
      • To identify and recommend optimization opportunities of various processes and strategies through various forms of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analysis of internal and external data.
      • To help uncover new revenue opportunities (such as monetization of data) by leveraging analytics insights to create new products, services, customer base, channels and markets.
      • To increase analytic talent and capability throughout the organization by conducting coaching, training and workshop sessions of data analysis, visualization techniques and analytical reporting.
      • To improve the quality of fact-based managerial and executive decisions by making strategic recommendations on data collection, integration and retention requirements incorporating business requirements and knowledge of best practices.
      • To implement industry best practices with respect to data science and analytics within the context of datamarts and data warehouses.
      • To keep abreast of Technology, the relevant business of customers as well as trends in the national economy that can impact the Company; maintains knowledge of the market, with respect to data science and analytics.
      • Workplace Safety- to validate that all work is done in accordance with established safety practices and procedures.
      • To perform such other related duties as may be assigned by the Senior Manager, from time to time.


      EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
      • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Marketing, Finance & Economics with adequate exposure to problem solving or quantitative research.
      • At least three (3) years‚Äô work experience, two (2) of which must be in a similar (big-data) environment.
      • Proficient in using data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau or Power BI to conduct descriptive and predictive analysis and design and build dashboards to visualise analysis results. Have experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
      • Comfortable with relational databases and Hadoop-based data mining frameworks.
      • Competent in extracting data from various data sources; Analysing large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets with multiple tools.
      • Accomplished in statistical analysis environments such as R or Python.

      The incumbent is required to work collaboratively with the Sales, Marketing and Operations team by providing presales support to deliver customized voice and data communications solutions to Enterprise customers.

      The incumbent is required to provide operational and behavioural insights using diagnostic and predictive analytics. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will scrutinise a wide range of Customer Experience (CEX) vendors; internal data and results to inform the decision making and strategic planning of the business unit.


      KEY FUNCTIONS

      • Assess the feasibility of requests and a review of applicable data sets.
      • Discover new cash collection opportunities by leveraging analytics insights to create higher collection rates, services, customer base, channels and markets.
      • Improve the quality of fact-based managerial and executive decisions by knowing best practices.
      • Implement industry best practices concerning data science and analytics within the context of data warehouses.
      • Keep abreast of technology, the relevant business of customers, and trends in the national economy that can impact the Company; maintain knowledge of the market concerning data science and analytics.
