DELIVERY DRIVER (POS)
JETPAK OPERATIONSJOB SUMMARY:
The Delivery Driver will report to the Distribution Supervisor, Jetpak Operations. The successful incumbent will ensure customer satisfaction by transporting packages in a safe, efficient and timely manner. This includes handling, securing and the delivery of customers packages, while adhering to assigned routes and delivery time schedules. He/She will also review orders before and after delivery, to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
a. Under tight deadlines, drives a vehicle to customer sites, climbs in and out of delivery vehicle, and walks up and down stairs as required to pick up and deliver documents and packages to and from customers according to established procedures, in all weather conditions;
b. Picks up, handles, and delivers time-sensitive documents and packages safely and punctually, considering traffic patterns, alternative routes, traffic regulations, and driving conditions in order to meet customer and CAL time requirements;
c. Ensures all delivery material received is safely delivered to correct consignee;
d. Operates a scanner to record shipping and package information for documents/packages picked up or delivered;
e. Maintains good work habits, including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work and safety procedures;
f. Maintains the standards associated with the Jet-Pak service level agreements and;
g. Works as a contributing member of a high-performance team.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
You are required to have at least one (1) year experience in a similar role. You must possess a minimum of three (3) GCE/CXC Ordinary Level passes including Mathematics and English, a valid driver’s permit with a clean driving record. The possession of either a Heavy-T or Forklift license is an asset. You must also possess strong communication, customer service and numeracy skills.Caribbean Airlines Vacancies July 2022

JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Officer (KIN) will report to the Senior Manager, HR Business Support. As the HR Officer, you will be responsible for providing human resources and administration services, which include talent acquisition, manpower budgeting, employment processing, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, and records management. The selected candidate will partner with Line Managers to implement human resource solutions by collecting and analyzing information appropriate to the current business demands. He/she will evaluate, recommend, implement solutions, and provide guidance to improve employee relations.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
Service Delivery: Ensures the delivery of a range of HR support and internal consultancy services, inclusive of employee services, recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, payroll administration, performance management, and records management, to assigned areas, consistent with HR Policies and Guidelines, Service Level Agreements and corporate objectives. Assists with budgeting and monthly variance reports and ensures administrative support is provided in assigned areas of responsibility.Operational Effectiveness: Ensures effective and efficient utilization of assigned resources, towards achieving operational goals and standards, as well as budgetary compliance.
Employee Engagement: Actively supports implementing and rolling out Employee Engagement initiatives in Jamaica and North America. Facilitates active engagement and communication with staff members, fostering an environment of teamwork and shared values.
Reporting: Ensures the delivery of accurate and timely operational and other reports, with a view to supporting effective data analysis and decision making.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
You will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management or Social Science (from an accredited institution) with a minimum of three (3) years’ of HR experience at an operational level. You must have operational exposure to a wide range of HR and general business disciplines. You must demonstrate proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite and, in particular, MS Word and MS Excel. Experience working with an HRIS system and competence in compensation management and industrial relations will also be an asset.You will have effective team management skills, with an excellent understanding of best practice HR management principles. You must have good business acumen, understand business requirements and operate in a fast-paced working environment. You must be diplomatic and discrete with the ability to handle highly sensitive matters in a highly confidential manner. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.

A&C/AVIONICS TECHNICIAN TRAINEE – M&E (POS)JOB SUMMARYThe A&C/Avionics Technician Trainee will report to the A&C/Avionics Engineer, respectively. The selected candidate will learn the necessary competencies for carrying out high quality, prompt, efficient and effective aircraft maintenance work, in accordance with established service requirements, Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and other Caribbean Airlines Limited maintenance procedures.
KEY DELIVERABLES- Quality: Effectively learning the requisite functions to be performed when routine maintenance checks are performed in accordance with approved standards and airworthiness requirements.
- Accountability: Assists with ensuring that all maintenance work is completed in accordance with the Company’s maintenance approval for the timely delivery of aircrafts.
- Safety: Ensures all maintenance work you perform on aircrafts adhere to the safety guidelines of the Company.
- Customer Service: Effectively learning the requisite functions to be performed on the aircraft for the timely delivery to prevent any delays and disruptions for internal and external customers.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:A&C Technician Trainee
You must possess a Mechanical Engineering Technician (MET) Diploma or a B.Sc. in Aircraft Maintenance & Management.Avionics Technician Trainee
You must possess an Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technician (EEET) Diploma or a B.Sc. in Aircraft Maintenance & Management.Prior on the job training and experience in the aviation industry will be an asset.You must demonstrate hands-on experience using Aircraft maintenance tools and equipment. You will have excellent mathematical reasoning and analytical skills.

JOB SUMMARY:The Head of Commercial and Pricing will report to the General Manager, Cargo and New Business. The Head of Commercial and Pricing will lead the development and execution of commercial initiatives for Cargo and Jetpak Services. The incumbent will identify business opportunities such as products and promotions, develop business cases and support sales and marketing strategies in order to increase profitability. He/she will also review and revise pricing models to remain competitive and meet revenue targets. The incumbent will also perform Revenue Management activities for both Cargo and Jetpak in order to maximise each business units’ profitability. He/she will also manage a commercial team to achieve the necessary targets.
KEY DELIVERABLES:- Strategic Perspective – Demonstrates an excellent understanding of the Cargo and Jetpak objectives and strategies; understands the business and the competitive markets and challenges within which it operates. Can translate this requirement into a value-adding strategy in order to maximize the company’s revenue.
- Operational Effectiveness: Ensures effective and efficient utilization of assigned resources, towards achieving operational goals and standards, as well as budgetary compliance.
- Engagement: Supports the implementation of strategies for stakeholder engagement to drive business development and growth.
- Reporting: Ensures the delivery of accurate and timely operational and other reports, with a view to supporting effective data analysis and decision-making.
- People Management: Provides leadership, direction, coaching and guidance to team members towards ensuring the achievement of corporate objectives, continuous improvement and growth of team members.
- Business Development Strategy- Formulate and implement Cargo and Jetpak business development strategies in line with the overall objectives in order to maximize the airlines market share revenue earnings within the markets.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION:
You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related qualification
with a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience at a managerial level or a combination of education and experience will be considered. An MBA would be considered an asset. You must have experience in developing and implementing pricing models. You must also have experience in Forecasting, Analytics, Budgeting, Commercial reporting, Product Development and Revenue ManagementYou must have a proven record of accomplishment in a similar role, consistently driving growth ahead of the overall market, with a track record of success in delivery of revenue target.
