      Job Description

      The Senior Human Resource Officer performs and has responsibility for a wide range of Human Resource related duties at the professional level in all of the functional human resource areas.


      Key and Critical Responsibilities

      • Responsible for the Company’s recruitment and selection function, inclusive of being a member of Interview Panels when required.
      • Ensures Job Descriptions are appropriately reviewed, updated and disseminated to employees.
      • Develops Annual Company-wide Training Plan.
      • Administers the Performance Management System.
      • Conducts Exit Interviews, and analyzes data making appropriate recommendations to the Manager, HRCS for corrective action and continuous improvement.
      • Maintains personnel databases, inclusive of Company’s establishment figures, ensuring accuracy of data at all times.
      • Assists with the orientation of new employees when required.
      • Assists with the development of reports, policies and procedures when required.
      • Assists with the implementation of approved Policies and Procedures ensuring appropriate tracking mechanisms are applied.
      • Maintains effective working relationships with employees in related operational areas and with members of the general public.
      • Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Regulations.
      • Performs any other duties as may be required to successfully achieve this job function.


      Key Competency

      Qualifications and Experience:

      • A Degree in Human Resource Management or any other Social Sciences Degree from a recognized institution.
      • Five (5) years relevant working experience; three (3) of which must be at a Supervisory Level.


      Knowledge:

      • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programmes.
      • Knowledge of Industrial Relations Laws.
      • Knowledge of Human Resource Policies and Procedures.
      • Knowledge of Health and Safety.

      Job Description

      The Systems Technician is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and help achieve our business objectives.


      Key and Critical Responsibilities

      • Responsible for monitoring the progress of all ICT activities and jobs within all government funded projects undertaken by PSAEL.
      • Installs, troubleshoot and implements computer, software and communication systems.
      • Identifies external business trends and technological efficiencies with a view to utilise new technology to improve organisational efficiencies.
      • Supervises ICT contractors and service providers.
      • Liaises with personnel of Petrotrin’s IT Department.
      • Provide technical assistance to all staff on network hardware and software issues.
      • Ensures compliance to standards, policies, processes and procedures with all governmental policies and international system industry standards.
      • Prepares reports and presentations to ICT Administrator.
      • Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Regulations during all PSAEL projects.
      • Performs other related duties as may be required to successfully achieve this job function.


      Key Competency

      Qualifications and Experience:

      • Two or more years of experience with Windows infrastructure in an enterprise class company.
      • Minimum of three (3) years experience in a Windows Server 2003 or higher Environment.
      • Cisco Certified Network Technician.
      • Comptia A+ Certification
      • Experience with major application and server virtualization initiatives.
      • Experience with large scale server/data center move or relocation.
      • Experience with server sizing / capacity planning.
      • Experience with data center / power management IT concepts is desirable.


      Knowledge:

      • Good knowledge and experience with storage (DAS, NAS, SAN) and IP networking.
      • Ability to communicate written/verbal with all levels of management.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word or CAD.
