KPMG in Caricom is expanding its Audit practice and is seeking to hire talented, highly motivated Audit professionals who can work within a structured client service process and a proven risk-management methodology.
2023 Finalizing students at recognised Universities with the required GPA are invited to apply.
The successful candidates will have some or all of the following characteristics:
Responsibilities:
- Perform the auditing procedures assigned to him/her.
- Ensure the adequacy and appropriateness of the workpapers.
- Inform the auditor-in-charge about auditing or accounting problems encountered.
- Being alert to and reporting to the auditor-in- charge, specific aspects of service which may be of benefit to the client.
- Review bank reconciliations and verify reconciled items.
Requirements:
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting or ACCA Level II
- Minimum final degree GPA score of 3.3 from a recognized university
- Minimum Grade II in CXC English Language or equivalent
Key Skills:
- Willingness to aggressively work towards the ACCA or CPA qualification
- Expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal, report writing and communication skills
- Flexible and willing to travel
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to adapt to a multi-cultural experience
Special conditions associated with the job:
- Required to work beyond normal working hours, when necessary
- May be required to work in other parishes for short stints
- Exposure to confidential information
- High level of integrity and confidentiality is required
- Required to work to set deadlines
