STORES RECEIVING INSPECTOR

JOB SUMMARY:
This position will report to the Quality Manager, Maintenance. The selected candidate will assist in controlling the receipt and storage of incoming aircraft components, accessories and parts by ensuring – through inspection – that they are of the correct type and part number, bearing approved documentation. He/She will carry-out check for proper storage and transit damage. He/She will also ensure that there is subsequent storage and labelling as established by the FAA, CAA Vendor/Manufacturer instructions. Regulatory requirements for the handling of aircraft spares are to be in accordance with regulations.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
- CUSTOMER FOCUS: Demonstrates the value of customer satisfaction in support of the goals and objectives of Quality Department and by extension Caribbean Airlines.
- OPERATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS: Ensures effective and efficient utilization of assigned resources, towards ensuring that Customer Service Deliverables and on-time performance standards are achieved or surpassed on all levels.
- COMMUNICATION: Possesses a high standard of written and oral communication skills.
- TEAM PLAYER: Works well as a contributing member of a high-performance team.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
You must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar role (handling stock and providing certifications) or an equivalent combination of experience and training. You must have five (5) CXC/GCE Ordinary level Passes, including Mathematics and English and be proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel. You must also have training certification as a Stores Receiving Inspector along with knowledge and experience in SAP specific to stores receiving.You are required to have a strong customer service orientation and demonstrate the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. You must also be familiar with the inspection process and possess experience in suspected unapproved parts program (SUP). You will have excellent verbal and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate well within all levels of the organization.

This position will report the Manager, Business Process & Standards. The selected candidate will assist in developing, promoting and enhancing the company’s image and reputation by providing prompt, efficient and courteous customer service in coordinating and monitoring all baggage.
KEY DELIVERABLES:- CUSTOMER SERVICE: Continuously seeks to capitalize on opportunities to exceed the expectations of customers by placing a keen interest on understanding and effectively resolving issues in a professional and result-oriented manner.
- OPERATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS: Ensure effective and efficient utilization of assigned resources, towards ensuring that customer service and on-time performance standards are achieved whilst ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
You must have a minimum of five (5) CXC / GCE Ordinary Level Passes including Mathematics and English or equivalent experience with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the airline industry. You must be proficient in the use of MS Office as well as have familiarity with international regulations regarding baggage handling.You must have a strong customer service orientation and be willing to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. You must be able to interact with passengers via the Customer Experience Department or Station Baggage Agent in the delivery process of their passenger baggage and facilitate the movement of luggage from one location to another. You must also be able to identify baggage by coordinating with all stations system-wide on mishandled and unclaimed baggage.

JOB SUMMARY
The IT Applications Analyst will report to the Head of IT Applications. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating the day-to-day activities on the core business application stack in Caribbean Airlines. He/she will be responsible for executing the daily tasks required to maintain or configure the business applications based on business needs. He/she shall strive for operational excellence through dedicated and proactive application management principles following agreed guidelines in configuring, testing and deploying any business rule changes on the associated applications. He/she will also be required to make suitable recommendations to improve efficiency through KPI setup and monitoring in the application space.
KEY DELIVERABLES
- Configures Applications changes in accordance with configuration management policy, thereby ensuring minimal acceptable downtime.
- Ensures all business systems preventative maintenance tasks are completed based on their schedule.
- Ensures and support security, availability, capacity and integrity mechanisms are in place for all applications at all times.
- Works with the required project managers and liaise with business operations, commercial and other departments to ensure their service needs and required deliverables are being met.
- Ensures all application configuration changes are properly planned, managed, documented and tested (using an appropriate test strategy) before implementation following a strict change and configuration management policy.
- Executes application upgrades, ensuring zero impact or minimal acceptable downtime.
- Executes user acceptance testing for any application upgrades.
- Fulfils service desk requests ensuring all OLAs and SLAs are met and exceeded.
- Supports new projects or technologies that arise across departments.
- Capitalizes on opportunities to exceed the expectations of customers by placing a strong interest in understanding and effectively resolving customer issues in a professional, result-oriented manner.
- Performs such other duties outside the normal scope of responsibilities that may be required to maximize efficiency, productivity, teamwork, customer relations, and enhance the Company’s entire operations.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:You will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering (computer systems major) or Computer Science or related qualification, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position, preferable in a large multinational environment. You must have knowledge and expertise with webserver and multi-platforms, including Windows and Unix. You must also have experience in Database and SQL flavors. You will have a strong customer service orientation, an ability to manage independently, within clearly defined guidelines, and excellent communication, networking and problem-solving skills.
