      The incumbent will be required to enhance the value of Bryden pi brands by ensuring all goods are properly displayed and merchandised. This entails ensuring all brand standards are maintained, stocks are rotated, retail outlets are regularly visited to ensure products are properly placed and visible and POP material is effectively used.

      Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

      • Visit assigned outlets to pack and replenish of Bryden pi products according to planogram and route listing.
      • Maintain the Company’s products and brands in the best location so as to ensure visibility, consumer traffic flow, and convenience
      • Rotate stock regularly in warehouses, cosmetics walls and shelves so as to ensure products expiration issues are minimized or eliminated
      • Use and secure POP material effectively and efficiently
      • Good housekeeping so as to ensure the selling spaces for products are clean and tidy; this includes re-papering shelves with corresponding brand shelf paper
      • Report stock outs to Sales Representative and follow up on orders
      • Ensure correct retail pricing on the shelves
      • Assist the Sales Representative as necessary in terms of placing supplementary orders, ensuring expiring goods are noted and liquidated
      • Act as relief for Sales Representatives on leave.
      • Support the promotion of the Company’s brands through continuous updating of product knowledge
      • Assist team members in setting up new walls
      • Update wall planogram as necessary in accordance with guidance from Merchandising Supervisor and Brand Managers
      • Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company

      Knowledge, Experience & Requirements:

      • A minimum of three (3) CXC passes, which must include English and Mathematics
      • Prior experience in a similar environment would be an asset
      • Or relevant combination of training and experience
      • A reliable working vehicle would be an asset

      We are seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position in the Hardware & Housewares Division:

      JUNIOR SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER

      Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

        • Prepares the Inventory Order Control or Material Requirement Planning report for review by the Brand Team/Group Product Manager/Marketing Manager and Division Head and prepares and submits the approved purchase orders to Suppliers.
        • Ensures all purchase orders are submitted ahead of supplier deadlines and in line with Supply Chain Purchasing, Inventory & Supplier Policies
        • Cultivates mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and references Service Level Agreements to ensure a high level of Supplier Delivery Performance
        • Prepares reports for internal customers and suppliers to improve planning and performance throughout the supply chain.
        • Participates in troubleshooting system failures and tracking implementation of corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement
        • Participates in the determination of Optimal Order quantities, incoterms and timing of orders
        • Monitors & reports on Supplier Delivery Performance (OTIF)
        • Monitors inventory levels and reports anomalies and possible supply disruptions to the Group Product Manager / Marketing Manager and other relevant stakeholders in the Division.
        • Participates in the on-going effort of SKU rationalization and data cleansing
        • Produces and provides procurement forecasts as required
        • Ensures the timely logging, expediting and tracking of open purchase orders and dissemination of weekly open-order status reports to the Group Product Manager / Marketing Manager.
        • Proposes new initiatives that will help further optimize the efficiency and reliability of the supply chain

      Knowledge & Experience:

      • CIPS Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations (Level 3) or an Associate’s Degree in a similar field
      • Minimum two (2) years relevant working experience.
      • Strong data analysis skills
      • Supply Chain experience in a FMCG environment would be considered an asset
      • Experience working with an ERP software would be an asset
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

      • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
      • Strong planning and organizational skills

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Development and management of brand strategies, communications and marketing campaigns through creation of annual marketing plans, using various effective platforms to reach target customer.

      • Carry out market research, stay current and monitor market trends, competitive activities and conduct consumer insights, to identify opportunities and key issues and areas for investment.
      • Conduct brand sales analysis and use category insight to understand performance of brands, ensuring the required corrective actions are developed and implemented by channel, to drive volume and profitability.
      • Achieve and monitor monthly sales and gross profit targets in keeping with departmental objectives.
      • Manage A&P spend in line with budgeted, margin requirements and brand investment.
      • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
      • Evaluate optimum quality, distribution, visibility, price, placement and promotion of the assigned brands in all trade channels.
      • Prepare draft forecasts and budget proposals and administer approved A&P budgets in collaboration with suppliers, Business Unit Manager, Division Manager and/or Group Product Manager, ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and tracked.
      • Conduct regular trade audits, monitoring existing brand portfolio, competitive activity, promotional trends and identify opportunities and areas for investment, including appropriate tactical initiatives to counteract such activity.
      • Monitor product expiration dates and damages of assigned brands at the Warehouse and implement measures to keep expiries to a minimum.
      • Perform other related duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company.


      Knowledge and Experience:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Business Management or related field.
      • A minimum of two (2) years similar experience in a FMCG Company
      • Or relevant combination of training and experience
      • A reliable, working vehicle

      Key Account Manager

      The incumbent will be required to plan and coordinate the management and development of key accounts and the Sales team to ensure optimum Sales, Distribution, Visibility, Price, Placement and Promotion of the assigned brands in the key outlets to enhance the Company’s image as a preferred supplier in the Industry and enhance customer service levels.


      Key Responsibilities include:

      • Drive and monitor sales, distribution and penetration to surpass brand, volume and profit objectives for a defined list of Key Account customers through effective and efficient use of budgets and resources by developing and executing on Key Account plans.
      • Supervise, work along with and coach sales team ensuring that they are servicing their customers effectively and timely to maximise revenue
      • Complete Sales Representatives incentives for payment on a monthly & quarterly basis.
      • Train & monitor Sales Reps on daily responsibilities and internal processes e.g. Goods Received Advices (GRA’s), Stock & Order Forms, AR Summary review, to ensure they acquire the necessary skills for excellent job performance.
      • Monitor performance of Sales team and develop incentive programs designed to continuously motivate them.Ensure Monthly Gross Profit & Distribution objectives are achieved for each sales representative on their assigned routes
      • Develop & implement Route Supervision Schedule with recommendations for improvements
      • Conduct customer visits to ensure the effectiveness of services rendered by sales team and identify, investigate and initiate corrective action on issues adversely impacting sales performance.
      • Identify opportunities for sales growth with new and existing customers and develop appropriate strategies for implementation including secondary locations and participating in Co-ops
      • Provide efficient customer service ensuring that strong customer relationships are fostered and maintained
      • Investigate and respond to customer demands, complaints or problems in an accurate and timely manner so as to ensure the achievement of established sales objectives.
      • Review the Accounts Receivable aging report on a regular and consistent basis to ensure they are in-line with Company policy and inform required follow up action.
      • Act as Company representative at promotional events for Key Account promotions
      • Ensure new products are listed on a timely basis and develop plans to grow customers sales through new product space allocations negotiations
      • Monitor and report on relative shelf facings, secondary locations, inventory and competitive promotions or activities in the marketplace.
      • Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company

       Knowledge, Experience & Requirement:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
      • A minimum of five (5) years sales experience in an FMCG environment with at least three (3) years at a supervisory level
      • Or relevant combination of training and experience
      • Must possess a reliable, working vehicle
