The job requires monthly preparation of specific balance sheet accounts reconciliations, specific raw material costings and specific schedules for inclusion in the management accounts. Ensure the motor vehicle and equipment spares sub ledger are accurate on a monthly basis.

SOME KEY DUTIES
Monthly preparation of bank reconciliation (RBL mall TTD and RBL and RBC USD) and investigate all reconciling items
Monthly analysis prepaid other and return cheque balances for any unusual transactions and long outstanding balances, communication with relevant department with any unusual/long outstanding balances
Monthly reconciliation motor vehicle and equipment spares sub ledger to general ledger and investigate all reconciling items
Perform Goods Receive Note sequencing for motor vehicle and equipment spares to ensure all Goods Receive Notes were recorded
Monthly review the of Equipment Spares and Motor Vehicle sub ledger for oversold quantities, accuracy in the inventory valuation, ensure physical count agrees to the sub ledger, identification and valuation of obsolete spares, refurbished items and any items that should not be included in the inventory sub ledger
Monthly recording of motor vehicle and equipment spares usage, compare to prior month and budget and obtain explanations for variances
Monthly review and recording of goods in transit and ensure that prior month’s goods in transit was cleared in the following month
Carrying out internal audit inspections, tests and programs in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
Conducting quality audits on all production lines to ensure compliance with established specifications and initiating corrective action in accordance with approved procedures.
Preparing non-conformance and wastage reports at each shift change in accordance with approved procedures.
Conducting sampling tests and inspections on packaged products in accordance with relevant sampling plans and procedures.
Performing all inspection tests as per Quality Plans.
EXPERIENCE
At least five (5) O’level subjects or equivalent and/or or a Science Technicians Diploma or equivalent and/or at least 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Good oral & written communication skills
Strong inter-personal skills
Computer literacy, MS word & excel
Ability to analyze and interpret production data
Excellent time management skills are critical for the timely completion of necessary reports and information
Or a combination of relevant training and experience will be considered

We are seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the position of Production Supervisor on a fixed contract basis.
To plan, coordinate and monitor the company’s operations in accordance with approved safety, efficiency and quality standards so that established production targets are achieved.
Job Responsibilities:
KEY DUTIES
Coordinate the daily operations of the production lines to ensure that established work targets are achieved.
Coordinate the planning, allocation and assignment of required manpower for assigned shift operations.
Ensure the application and implementation of established safety standards, procedures for all production lines.
Ensure that approved quality standards and specifications are maintained and initiate corrective action to correct production discrepancies.
Monitor the performance of subordinate line personnel to ensure that desired productivity levels for operations are achieved.
Provide technical advice, guidance and on the job training for subordinate personnel so as to create and maintain effective levels of productivity.
Ensure the timely preparation of production summaries, labour allocation sheets, quality audits and related log sheets in accordance with approved procedures and practices
Ensure the maintenance of established codes of conduct and disciplinary standards consistent with approved procedures and guidelines
Complete employee time cards and hours worked for subordinates in accordance with approved procedures.
Identify and investigate operational or production discrepancies and initiate corrective action as required.
Perform other related duties as required by the job function
Ensure 100% compliance with HSE guidelines and processes
Ensure 100% compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety standards
Requirements
A Bachelors degree or Tertiary Level Qualification in Sciences or Engineering.
Must have at least 3 years strong supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to work in a fast pace enviornment
Proficient in Microsoft office suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of HSE, QMS or HACCP will be an asset
Must be able to rotate in a three (3) eight hour shift system and weekends
Any other relevant training or experience will be considered
