The Authority is seeking an individual with extensive experience to lead the Corporate Communications team within the Customer Care Division. The successful candidate will be required to develop and implement appropriate communication strategies and plans to ensure the timely dissemination of information to all our stakeholders, customers, general public and employees.
The incumbent will be required to identify and introduce the use of appropriate technology to support the dissemination of timely and accurate information on behalf of the Authority. He/She will also be required to capitalize on opportunities to promote and positively represent the organization to improve its image and reputation through internal and external communications and introduce innovative methods for the provision of public education programs.
The successful candidate will also be required to oversee the development and execution of the Authority’s media relations plans, manages and maintains relationships with various media organizations. He/She will be tasked with creating a high-performance customer centered culture within the Division by developing key performance indicators to track, monitor, and analyze the Authority’s customer service and satisfaction levels, and introduce new techniques to improve our customer service standards, complaint resolution processes and customer relations.
The successful candidate must also have experience operating in a fast- pace, unionized environment, be able to influence others, manage communication challenges quickly and professionally.

- Master’s Degree in Communications, Mass Communications, Marketing or in a related field and/or relevant discipline.
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a Corporate Communication environment, five (5) of which must be at Senior Management level.
