To support the Marketing Manager and team in raising the Company’s profile by maximizing its income, contributing creatively to continued growth and development and assisting with public relations, press functions as well as various digital media and other associated marketing activities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the marketing manager and supporting the marketing team with marketing activities.
- Assist with the production of advertising materials and literature.
- Support in all marketing procurement activities.
- Perform new supplier sourcing and qualification.
- Coordinate with advertising agency on the production of a wide range of marketing communications.
- Provide support for promotional events and exhibitions as required.
- Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature.
- Assisting in the distribution of subscriber newsletters and information.
- Contribute to internal reports.
- Update and maintain the marketing department’s documentation and databases.
- Occasionally book venues and manage events.
- Collate and analyse social media data.
- Assist in the preparation of customer communication.
- Assist in the assessment of reports of results of marketing campaigns.
- Write and edit content for different platforms such as social media, website, and press releases.
- Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs.
- Ensure adherence to applicable HSE legislation and policies as far as reasonably practicable.
- Commit to attending all required HSE training.
- Ensure all HSE assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are fulfilled on a continuous basis.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Associate Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or any related field.
- 2 years’ experience in, Marketing / PR / communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail.
- A high degree of organization.
- Capacity to work independently.
- Ability to constantly improve and optimize.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned by Marketing Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating event proposals/ calendars which fit business requirements and presenting events calendars by deadline.
- Communicating with marketing team to create effective advertisements for each event, and when necessary, crafting marketing materials such as print and advertisements for individual events.
- Creating sales opportunities for future events, including possessing a strong working knowledge of the company to further these sales opportunities.
- Planning multiple events at once.
- Maintaining a working relationship with vendors and venues.
- Press kit assembly and distribution. Distribution of Sales Prizes.
- Checking of marketing equipment and item stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Assist with the purchase of and maintaining stock of promotional items.
- Coordinate promotional events, MDU events, exhibitions, sales drives campaigns and attends them to ensure their success.
- Takes photos of events to be provided as part of post-event reports and to be developed into content for Facebook and other social media pages.
- Oversee the set-up / dismantling and removal of the event and clearing the venue efficiently.
- Conduct site visits for Mobile Store Location for promotional and sales events.
- Conduct site visits and approvals for activation setups.
- Secures approvals for placement of Mobile Store Unit at various locations.
- Coordinate and schedule Mobile Store moves.
- Schedule Maintenance of Mobile Store Unit – cleaning, security etc.
- Liaise with Marketing Team to promote events via direct mail and social media or other media
- Manage Brand Ambassadors for events and promotional activities.
- Coordinates payment to suppliers with Marketing/ PR Officer and Finance team; follows up on invoices and disbursement of cheques.
- Coordinates marketing employee meetings and call conferences; takes minutes as necessary.
- Supports Marketing Team in organizing various projects.
- Contribute to weekly team meetings and / or business plans.
- Providing general team support, including the handling of administrative tasks and responding to general marketing queries.
- Ensure adherence to applicable HSE legislation and policies as far as reasonably practicable.
- Commit to attending all required HSE training.

- Additional duties as assigned.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned by the General Manager or the Marketing Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Event management or any related field.
- A minimum of (2) years’ work experience in a similar position.
- Excellent business writing skills.
- Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft applications including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects concurrently, meet established timelines.
- Experience with planning and managing events would be an asset.
- Previous experience working with advertising agencies would be an asset.
- Be effective in executing support and administrative activities.
- Perform duties as need arises without specific direction.
- Be an independent thinker and problem solver.
- Present a professional, pleasant and helpful demeanour.
- Possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Have a proper command and use of the English Language both orally and in writing in an office environment to stakeholders at all levels within and outside of the organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all work information and material; and
- Team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, motivation and respect for team members.
