      DRILLING MATERIALS COORDINATOR (Offshore and Onshore)

      The responsibility for Drilling Materials Coordinator (Offshore) shall include but not limited to the followings:-

      i)           Physically receipt of all materials, equipment from supply base against outbound manifest and flight manifest, coding and store properly at the right places for drilling activities.

      ii)          Coordinate with third party engineers to receive their materials/equipment, keep tracking and record of all incoming materials.

      ix)         Carry out physical stock check at random, well ends or monthly as required by logistics supervisor and finance department, maintain all filling on both hard copies and soft copies for retrievable and audit purposes.

      x)          Manage the handling, including lifting of equipment and Material to promote safe and efficient handling.

      The responsibility for QAQC Inspector shall include but not limited to the followings:- 

      i)       Quality Assurance Activities:

      1. Review COMPANY’s equipment lists.
      2. Review contractual quality requirement (DS-1 inspection category required)
      3. Participate in all pre-spud activities including leading reviews of COMPANY’s QAQC requirement in order to relay COMPANY’s expectations to service providers.
      4. Conduct baseline and periodic audits of service provider’s program and quality systems and review quality plans
      5. Track quality problems specific to each service provider, propose and implement solution to rectify the identified problem, follow through until full closure and report the final outcome to COMPANY as a form of “Lesson Learnt to be shared with relevant personnel in a systematic and constructive manner/format.
      6. Prepare and submit daily work reports, and review with COMPANY’S representatives as needed.
      7. Responsible to evaluate supplier general performance for standard compliance, supplier practices and COMPANY contractual requirements.
      8. Review all drawing drafted/submitted by the vendor for standard compliance and COMPANY requirement, prior to start any fabrication/machining works on any equipment/tools/subs/ ordered by the COMPANY.


      ii)     Quality Control Activities:

      a. Responsible to contact each supplier identified by COMPANY in order to coordinate and witness actual inspection and qualification of equipment/tools.

      b. Witness manufacture, assembly and testing of equipment, especially wellhead and liner hanger, at source manufacturing locations as required by COMPANY, and as per appropriate industry standard and/or COMPANY’s specific criteria.

      c. Coordinate between COMPANY and service providers to witness actual inspections and qualifications prior to need date for each well’s hole section to ensure equipment’s integrity and readiness.

      d. Witness inspection, servicing, assembly, repairs, etc of used rental drilling equipment and serve as a constant Quality Control enforcement presence on behalf of COMPANY. This includes verification that servicing, inspection, assembly, and functions checks are in accordance with industry standards as well as service provider’s own written manuals. Prepare and submit daily and final reports to COMPANY.

      e. Generate list of vendors/contacts/equipment by hole section and put in a spreadsheet format to use as working document for tool verification and witnessing controls.


      iii)       Responsible to conduct the QAQC for drilling equipment but not limited to the following items:

      a. MWD/LWD f. Cementing
      b. Directional Drilling g. Wellhead
      c. Mud Logging h. Tubular Handling
      d. Rock/PDC/Core Bits i. Liner hanger
      e. Fishing j. OCTG

      iv)       Shall have:

      • Good English proficiency and able to communicate with local.
      • Possess certification in DS-1 inspection.
      • Pleasant personality and able to interact with local.
      • Availability to go to rig site as required.

      HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE) OFFICER OFFSHORE

      The responsibility for HSE Officer Offshore shall include but not limited to the followings: –

      i) Act as a CLIENT representative to all HSE issues on contractor operated drilling rig, conducting assurance of contractor activities on site.

      ii) Provide advice to line management, including Contractors on occupational health, safety and environment matters throughout Drilling division operations to ensure that the conduct of activities is in full compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

      iii) Identify, assess and monitor HSE hazards and layers of protection to prevent incidents, as conduct reviews of Risk Assessments/ JSA to assure that all HSE hazards are identified and adequately addressed by contractor.

      iv) Conduct HSE inspections and verification (covering e.g., Lifting Operations, Working At Heights, Confined Space, Process Safety, etc.) to confirm that work sites are safe and compliant and that current work practices are in line with the approved procedures;

      v) Conduct regular HSE inspection/assurance at work site to ensure that occupational safety and health risk associated with work activities as well as risk posed by machinery, plant, equipment, substance and appliance are managed to a level that is as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP).

      vi) Participate in incident investigation, ensuring that the incident investigation process is carried out in accordance with PCSB Incident Investigation & Reporting Procedures and to effectively identify potential root causes and develop effective intervention plan to prevent the recurrence of similar incident to safeguard and protect people, environment, asset and reputation of COMPANY. Monitor progress and implementation of corrective actions arising from related Incident, Near Miss reports. Stewarding of incident finding and actions to conclusion.

      vii) Verify and provide support in running lessons learned process on the site.

      viii) Proactively and systematically monitor site activities to help ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures and standards.

      ix) Developing, planning, implementing and maintaining Health Safety and Environmental plans, actions lists and programs (e.g. PPE use, waste management, confined space work procedure, etc) at the work site, in compliance with regulatory requirements, to enhance level of occupational safety and health awareness at all work locations.

      x) Provide support to HSE audits and tracking Action Plan.

      xi) Advise and support implementing HSE legal and regulatory requirements.

      xii) Ensure that an effective, efficient and trained emergency response organization is in place.  Verify and coordinate exercises/ drills and other contractor’s duties in accordance with the Emergency Response Plan.


      xiii) Verify contractor’s safe handling and storage of hazardous substances.

      xiv) Ensure awareness and compliance to Environmental permit and coordinate on site environmental programs.

      xv) Provide support in facilitating and leading safety meetings, health, safety and environmental campaigns.

      xvi) Research, evaluate and implement new changes and development in regulatory requirements and industry best practices through networking with authorities and adopt the changes and lesson learnt to COMPANY organization.

      xvii) Plan, coordinate and execute emergency response preparedness exercise based on capability gap assessment and drive the implementation of effective training program, exercises, drills and simulations to ensure group of highly competent personnel are strategically placed to manage emergencies in Drilling division operations.

      xviii) Provide occupational safety and health related training and promoting safety culture (Monthly performance review, proactive safety culture, UAUC, near miss & Behaviour report at work site throughout the division including contractors by giving safety talk, conducting HSE inspection/assurance and safety walkabout to enhance competency on occupational safety and health to promote safe work practices.

      xix) Coach, mentor and conduct periodic performance review to motivate staff and contractor to instill right mind-set, behaviors and values to attain high HSE performance standard throughout operations.

      xx) Support verification to assure that contractor personnel is appropriately trained to conduct their work safely in accordance with approved procedures.

      xxi) Effectively communicate with all relevant site/ office-based teams regarding HSE planning, actions, monitor and report HSE performance/incidents.

      xxii) Reports to the Wells Manager


      xxiii)     Shall have:

      • Good English proficiency and able to communicate with local.
      • Possess Qualified Safety & Health Officer certification or equivalent.
      • Possess valid HUET/EBS certification.
      • Pleasant personality and able to interact with local.
      • Minimum ten (10) years HSE experience in Oil and Gas industry.

      Responsibilities of Senior Deep Water Well Test Engineer/Specialist shall cover, but not limited to the following: –

      i) Responsible for all well test related matters throughout the well planning and operation.

      ii) Develop, plan, assess and execute the deep water well test program to achieve well test objective for Suriname deep water drilling campaign.

      iii) Pre-planning all well test activities for well test campaign including preparing the full Testing services Scope of Work, budgeting, Contractor evaluation during tender process, writing all well test Basis of Design, well test engineering proposals and well test programs following API Standards and Procedures.

      iv) Identifying and procuring interface requirements at early stage of well test design / plan. Smart Well Test Design includes Flow Assurance, Sand design and advance PLT, Interference Test, Wireless Data Acquisition, Installation of PDG.

      v) Included Planning and Programs for CTU, N2, Slick Line, BHS, DST, TCP, Well Testing, Sub Sea Electro-Hydraulic systems, PVT Sampling, Flow Assurance, Sand Control which will perform offshore on a DP Drill ship or DP Semi Sub.

      vi) Regularly assess Testing operations associated risks, update and highlight the risks to management in writing. Develop Contingencies and ERP for Well test operations, take MOC when required. Responsible for overall safety of Well Test Operations for Suriname.

      vii) Identify and Lead Well Test Specific Project Risk Assessments and HAZOP/HAZID risk assessments, provide fit for purpose solutions.

      viii) Responsible for monitoring well test supervisors offshore, including installation of Burner Booms and re-certification, load testing, contractor’s QAQC, certification verification, checklist for DW Testing operations, prepare and implement Pre-Flow check list, Develop Offline activities on dual derrick rig to Optimize rig time, Cost optimization.


      ix) Assisting the preparation of all Well Test associated services Contractors example Tubulars, Handling tools Scope, Reservoir Study, PVT sampling etc.

      x) Participate in Technical Committee presentations. Technical and Commercial evaluation of contracts related to Well testing and Intervention.

      xi) Present well test conceptual, Program and get approvals from Technical Assurance (TA).

      xii) Lead & Execute Well Test operations on Rig to achieve Testing objectives and ensure well test Process Safety

      xiii) Review the Well test Contractors Safety Cases, Contractor Performance, Audit and submit reports.

      xiv) Daily Well Test Operations Report while Testing in progress, Summary Reports, Final Well Test Report to be approved by TAs.

      xv) Reports to Drilling Manager


      xvi) Shall have required qualifications, experience and competencies:

      • Minimum a B.S. degree in Engineering.
      • Possess a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in Offshore Well Testing and Completions Operations
      • Minimum Five (5) years of experience in Deep-Water (>Water depth = 1000 ft) Well testing Operations; Run minimum 3-DW Testing jobs with E-H system at Test Supervisor level
      • Minimum three (3) years of experience in International operations at Supervisor / Senior Engineer level supporting Testing / Completions operations

      + Developing and implementing organization strategies that support improved client future-state organizational design and service delivery

      + Prepare organization design alternatives, testing them against design criteria, and aligning leadership groups around design selection and implementation

      + Apply analytic and visualization tools to assess the impact of varying organization design and decision solutions

      + Support the process of identifying, assigning, and implementing decision making authority and responsibility to both individuals (decision rights) and groups (governance)

      + Prepare workforce transition plans and programs, including strategies to transition talent at all levels

      + Design jobs and roles, create competency models and career paths to aid in the selection and transition of employees

      + Serve as a trusted advisor to clients through the organization design process

      + Contribute to practice development initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, etc.

      + Support business development efforts, including Statements of Work (SOW), proposal development, client presentations, etc.

      + Act in a mentoring capacity to support the career development of OT colleagues

      Qualifications Required:

      + Bachelors’ degree

      + Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience in a consulting or industry role

      + Minimum of four (4) years of experience within the Oil, Gas & Chemicals industry

      + Minimum four (4) years of experience leading multiple project teams simultaneously on relevant engagements

      + Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

      + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future


      Preferred:

      + Proven experience in a consulting and/or client-facing environment

      + Advanced degree and/or MBA in related specialization

      + Desire and eagerness to mentor and assist in the professional development of junior staff members

      + Exposure to business development in related specialty areas (i.e., proposal development, sales, etc.)

      + Ability to succeed in team-based or independent environments

      + Well-organized with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously

      + Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel)

      + Strong analytic and data visualization skills

      + Dedicated work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence

      Process Automation Control and Optimization (PACO) Technician

      What is the role?

      The PACO / Controls and Instrumentation Technician is a member of a multi-disciplinary technical maintenance team who report to the Maintenance Team Lead (MTL) at the production facility. The role is also responsible for the maintenance and management of all control and safety instrumentation equipment and associated systems at the location. The PACO Technician also performs the function of Performing Authority and Isolating Authority to support Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and Permit to Work (PTW) processes.


      Accountabilities:

      • Completes routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, fault diagnosis and corrective maintenance of control and instrumentation equipment including DCS, Subsea control equipment, High Integrity Pipeline Protection Systems (HIPPS), PLC, Emergency Shutdown (ESD) Systems (e.g. ABB ICSS, Delta V, Autronica, Rockwell Automation and Triplex) control and shutdown systems.
      • Initiate approved changes to Preventive Maintenance routines, procedures, hardware and software updates as required to ensure a more effective and efficient Maintenance strategy.
      • Provide detailed maintenance data, equipment history and trends to aid in Root Cause Analysis for all unplanned production outages, equipment failures and ensure measures are implemented to avoid repeats events.
      • Demonstrate the ability to complete Safety, Production and Environmental Critical and Non-Critical Routines (corrective maintenance and preventative maintenance) in a timely manner to ensure compliance targets are achieved.
      • Actively report all non-compliance occurrences to the Maintenance Team Lead (MTL) for escalation, which could affect the safe reliability of hydrocarbon production from the facility.
      • Ensures Work Management System contains comprehensive and accurate maintenance and historical data by continual review and audit of completed work orders.
      • Optimizes maintenance man-hours and minimizes equipment breakdown by critically assessing maintenance plans in collaboration with the Maintenance Team Lead (MTL), OIM and maintenance function.
      • Promote a performance mind set within the team that focuses on behaviors and safe working practices.
      • Manage maintenance resources effectively to optimize maintenance activities and reliability for Controls and Instrumentation equipment.
      • Identifies risk to equipment due to impairment and advise the required solution to mitigate these risks.
      • Critically reviews maintenance performance (planned vs. actual) – to ensure continual improvement.




      What We Need From You

      The PACO Technician must be committed to the highest standards of HSSE while working towards continuous improvement in the onsite controls and instrumentation activities and in the brownfield projects or other business activities in which they are involved. The PACO Technician is required to have:

      • Must have legal authorization to work in Trinidad & Tobago (or any of the CARICOM member country) on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
      • A Technician Diploma qualified in relevant Electrical or Electronics, Controls and Instrumentation engineering discipline or equivalent.
      • Minimum four (4) or more years in a similar environment or maintenance experience with Controls and Instrumentation equipment, preferably in oil and gas (upstream) or petrochemical (downstream) business.
      • Proven capability and experience in performing maintenance activities and demonstrating success at delivering against maintenance plans.
      • Proficient in the application of maintenance procedures with proven capability and experience in using tools and test equipment for the relevant PACO discipline.
      • Conversant with maintenance procedures documentation, including block diagrams, logic diagrams, loop drawings, isometrics, PFD’s, P&ID’s, Data Sheets, Cause and Effect charts
      • Experienced in use of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or equivalent.
      • Competent in the application of process isolations and adherence to Safe Isolation / LOTO procedures.
      • Proven capability in measuring, reporting, and analyzing data, troubleshooting to deliver performance and maintenance improvements.
      • Demonstrate problem solving skills in relation to Controls and Instrumentation equipment faults.
      • Perform emergency response roles as defined in the emergency response procedures, contribute to managing and delivering emergency response actions in the event of an incident under the direction of the OIM or PIC.
      • Adept to working in a production and maintenance team structure in an onshore and offshore environment.
      • In some cases, the PACO Technician is required to work at heights to perform maintenance activities and resolve faults within the equipment.
