JOB SUMMARY:
The Procurement Manager will report to General Manager, Procurement and Cost Optimisation. The incumbent will analyse the technical and commercial aspects of the Procurement of Goods and Services in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property Act of 2015. The Procurement Manager is also required to ensure the efficient and compliant execution of all procurement activities in keeping with principles of good governance, such as accountability, integrity, transparency, and value for money.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
SERVICE DELIVERY:
- Provides leadership for and oversees the activities of Caribbean Airlinesâ Procurement, including purchasing of all goods and services and tendering and contract negotiations.
- Ensures the delivery of approved Procurement Department-related SLAs.
- Implements Caribbean Airlinesâ Procurement strategy and to ensures that price-driven Procurement policies, procedures and manuals are in place and managed to support the strategy.
- Supervises short and long-term procurement strategies designed to reduce cost and improve quality and service.
- Ensures that all goods and services are purchased at an optimal price and timely, and that all purchases represent good value for money through expert knowledge of the airline industry supply chain.
- Verifies all purchase orders and payments within the computerised inventory software programmes;
- Produces purchase orders for receivers to match against goods received & establishes purchasing specifications.
- Evaluates purchases while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries.

KEY DELIVERABLES:
Accountability:

The Captain, ATR, will report to the Fleet Manager, ATR. The incumbent is responsible for the safe operation of the ATR aircraft in accordance with the Companyâs Operating Manuals and for effecting all reasonably possible economies on each flight to which he/she is assigned.  Your engagement with the Airline will be for a fixed term i.e., on contract.Â
ELIGIBILITY & PERSON SPECIFICATION:- You must have a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) from TTCAA (an ICAO Contracting State).
- A degree in Airline/Airport Management, Aerospace Technology or Aeronautical Science would be an asset;
- Minimum 3000 hrs to include 1000 hrs P1/P1 U/S;
- Light (<12,500 lbs) max 500 hours towards total and P1/P1 U/S requirement max 500 hrs P3 towards total requirement;
- Valid Instrument Rating;
- Valid Recurrent Checks;
- Valid medical assessment in accordance with the requirements of the TTCAA. Such assessments shall not be valid for more than twelve (12) months; and
- You must have a strong customer service orientation, work independently within clearly defined guidelines, and have excellent communication, risk management and problem-solving skills.
