To be responsible for the managerial work by directing and coordinating the activities of the supply chain of Central Stores.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Plan, direct and supervise all warehousing activities.
· Produce, review, and implement operational policies and procedures.
· Supervise subordinate staff engaged in warehousing and other activities.
· Make periodic inspections of all warehouse operations to ensure compliance with best practice.
· Liaise with key shareholders, e.g., Ministry of health, Regional health Authorities, to ensure services and supply reliability.
· Review requisitions, picking lists and issuing/receipt documents/Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities
· Obtain maximum productivity in receiving, stores and dispatch.
· Initiate physical inspections and controls ensuring that stock is stored, rotated and disposed effectively.
· Maintain liaison with customers and other related persons for performance feedback and to communicate information concerning stock issues/receipts and establishment of quotas and issuing schedules for commonly used items and to determine optimal inventory levels for the different stock.
· Make periodic inspection of warehouse to ensure economic efficiency and compliance with regulations.
· Supervise and motivates subordinate staff engaged in supply chain activities.
· Compile and analyze statistical data related to supply chain activities.
· Establish systems for the receipt and distribution of supplies.
· Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
· Perform any other related duties as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor Degree in Business Management or any other related discipline.
· Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management / Warehouse Management
· A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a managerial position in large warehouse operations.
· Any equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
· Extensive knowledge of large-scale chain methods and processes.
· Considerable knowledge of inventory / supply chain management and warehouse practices and procedures.
· Considerable knowledge of a wide variety and grades of pharmaceutical supplies
· Considerable knowledge of procedures relating to supply contracts.
· Considerable knowledge of modern management techniques and practices.
· Ability to plan, direct, coordinate and control complete functions or operations.
· Excellent supervisory skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office software package.

NIPDEC Vacancies October 2021
To assist the Company Secretary/Manager Legal Services Department in ensuring that legal, statutory and other provisions governing or affecting the operations of NIPDEC are observed. To serve as Secretary to selected sub-Committees and adhoc Committees of the Board.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Represent the Company at negotiations towards the settlement of legal matters.
· Provide legal advice and opinions on matters pertaining to the operations of NIPDEC.
· Provide advice and guidance to Legal Officer and other support staff.
· Review and draft Contracts, Leases, Conveyances, Bonds, Loan documents and other legal documents.
· Assist with the preparation of monthly departmental reports, annual budget and strategic business plans.
· Represent the Company in any legal matter as and when requested before the Magistrate Court, High Court, Court of Appeal or Industrial Court.
· Deputize for the Company Secretary in all matters pertaining to that role.
· Assist the Company Secretary in managing the operations of the Department.
· Perform related functions as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Requirements:
· A Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) and a Legal Education Certificate (LEC).
· A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience as a practicing Attorney, three (3) of which should be at a managerial level, preferably in the construction industry.
· Knowledge of FIDIC and Company Secretary experience would be considered an asset.
· Any equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
