Duties & Responsibilities
Purpose
Responsible for operating Remotely Operated Vehicles, Subsea Tooling, IWOCS and RWOCS Systems, Tensioning and Reel Systems in a safe and efficient manner, and maintaining and repairing all electronic, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and sub-systems associated with same including component repair, replacement and troubleshooting.

- Operate equipment to include cameras (video and still), acoustic positioning systems, sonars, manipulators (robotic arms), LARS (Launch and Recovery Systems), hydraulic power units, complex subsea tooling, surface and subsea workover systems.
- Assist or pilot the ROV including evaluating the environment conditions and hazards, dock/undock from TMS (tether management system), and navigate the ROV by acoustics, sonar and visual (video).
- Perform maintenance/repairs on equipment: maintain/ repair electronics, maintain/ repair hydraulics, maintain/repair mechanics, use test equipment, calibrate and align equipment, and perform general housekeeping and corrosion control.
- Will operate and repair electrical over hydraulic and direct hydraulic control systems that interact with pumps, valves and other hydraulic transmission and power equipment.
- Will operate and interface sub-sea navigational equipment including but not limited to magnetic compass, gyro, transducer, sonar, altimeter, and associated survey equipment.
- Integrates and operates tooling including but not limited to: cutters, pump units, multipurpose skids, dredging systems, standalone sensory systems, and any other tooling integrated to the Remotely Operated Vehicle.
- Maintains parts and supplies inventory associated with all electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic assemblies and subassemblies.

Role synopsis
The Trinidad Region produces approximately 2.1 bcfd of gas (~55% of the country’s demand), underpinned by nearby existing upstream infrastructure, established midstream operations and long term gas sales contracts in the Region. The Trinidad Subsurface teams have progressed a successful Area Development Plan that has included successful exploration and development well drilling. Success has been underpinned by two phases of High Density 3D Ocean Bottom Seismic data sets acquired and processed between 2011 and 2018 using technical limit acquisition and processing technologies. Analysis and interpretation of these datasets has and continues to be an important tool in the identification of new exploration leads and the de-risking of existing and new field development plans. Because of the high-quality nature of these datasets, potential remains for identification of further exploration and development potential using advanced seismic analysis techniques. In addition, future reprocessing of existing seismic datasets and future seismic data acquisition will require design of fit for purpose data for continual geophysical analysis including advanced AVO and Seismic Rock Property workflows.The Seismic Delivery team is seeking an experienced seismic analyst to develop and conduct seismic analysis workflows, generate seismic rock properties and support subsurface teams in using advanced seismic products. This role requires one to work with both local and global subsurface teams and global subject matter experts. Experience in advanced processing techniques, seismic survey design and advanced interpretation techniques will be considered advantageous. This role requires network building and collaboration with the company’s global geophysical community and at times working with partners and contractors. Candidate will be exposed to best in class geophysical technologies including many developed and implemented by BP.
