Key Responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications
- A Degree in related field – First class or Upper Second Class Honours
- CBV or CFA qualification or equivalent

- Strong desire to learn new skills and pass on knowledge to others in the team
- Excellent human relation skills – ability to relate well with people at all levels as a member of a team and/or as a team leader

As part of our market-leading team, you will help companies and investors facing financial challenges and threats across the whole economic cycle. As a member of Strategy and Transactions team, you’ll participate in due diligence, valuation and business modelling, strategic digital advisory, M&A advisory engagements related to transactions involving private equity/ financial investor groups as well as strategic corporate companies.
Specifically, you will be a part of a team seeking to help clients plan mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, debt and equity sourcing. You will also have the opportunity to support clients with large transformational projects such as digital transformation in this new era where technology is at the forefront. Further you will also assist clients to review and build financial models for purposes of financial reporting, projections development, feasibility studies, transaction support and corporate strategy whilst incorporating sophisticated techniques to analyze data to assist clients in making better and more informed choices.

SaT SENIOR Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial and operational results of acquisition targets through the preparation of various analyses by reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management, including finance, operations, human resources and marketing.
- Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, performing financial modeling, valuations analysis; mergers and acquisitions; assisting in the facilitation of strategic sessions and developing strategic plans.
- Maintain a strong client focus by serving client needs and maintain/develop productive working relationships with clients
- Perform financial modeling, trend and variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting
- Assist in identifying issues for purchase price reductions, deal restructuring, or deal termination.
- Assist management in identifying pre/post-acquisition issues.
- Assist in preparing reports and schedules as required.
- Evaluate the effects of seasonal and cyclical changes on cash flow requirements.
- Perform industry and company research- identifying and exploring potential new business
- Engage with the client target company to document and assess information, reporting directly to the manager. Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients and winning repeat business
- Applies best practice valuation tools, techniques and methodologies to carry out valuation research, analysis and development of initial valuation findings
- Uses written communication skills to develop internal and client documentation, including key analyses, reports and recommendations.
- Direct the progress of fieldwork, inform managers of the engagement status, and manage staff performance as required.
- Bring potential opportunities to the team’s attention as well as seek, develop, and present ideas to apply EY’s services.

- Minimum 3- 5 years of related work experience
