Job Summary:

The Key Account Supervisor is responsible for the sustainable growth of the business in the large and small wholesale channels, the supermarket and pharmacy chains as well as any strategic accounts identified.

The sustainable growth will be achieved by developing and executing joint business plans with these key customers making use of trade programs approved by Micon while keeping within the guidelines of the Tobacco Control Act of Trinidad & Tobago.

A key responsibility is to develop a relationship of trust and goodwill with their customers which is highlighted through a high level of after-sales service and follow-up. The Key Account Supervisor is also the direct trade link for the Company and as such is responsible for providing feedback from customers on sales as well as competitive activities.

Main Responsibilities:

Achieve sales and profit objectives for key customers assigned.
Visit all assigned customers on a routine cycle to introduce new products, deploy POS material, take orders and engage in commercial planning and execution.
Ensure /maintain adequate stock levels at customer to avoid lost sales due to stock-outs.
Ensure proper placement / display of products in dispensers and other visibility POS material in accordance with MICON’s merchandising requirements and the Tobacco Act of Trinidad & Tobago
Develop and maintain positive relationships with key customers in all channels assigned
Grow the sales of existing Tier 1 and 2 wholesalers.
Generate monthly reports to MICON and PMI management on the commercial performance of key accounts assigned.
Adhere to all MICON policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Follow-up for collection of payments and keeping customer receivables within approved limits.
Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications / Experience

A minimum of two (2) years experience in a Sales or Marketing role.
Proven track record of success
Access to a working vehicle
Familiar with geographical structure of Trinidad

Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
Customer Service Champion
Ability to present plans to varying levels of management
Strong analytical skills

Reporting Relationships

The Key Account Supervisor will report directly to the Sales Director. In the absence of the Sales Director, you will report directly to the Marketing Director.
