The incumbent will be required to enhance the value of Bryden pi brands by ensuring all goods are properly displayed and merchandised. This entails ensuring all brand standards are maintained, stocks are rotated, retail outlets are regularly visited to ensure products are properly placed and visible and POP material is effectively used.
Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Visit assigned outlets to pack and replenish of Bryden pi products according to planogram and route listing.
- Maintain the Company’s products and brands in the best location so as to ensure visibility, consumer traffic flow, and convenience
- Rotate stock regularly in warehouses, cosmetics walls and shelves so as to ensure products expiration issues are minimized or eliminated
- Use and secure POP material effectively and efficiently
- Good housekeeping so as to ensure the selling spaces for products are clean and tidy; this includes re-papering shelves with corresponding brand shelf paper
- Report stock outs to Sales Representative and follow up on orders
- Ensure correct retail pricing on the shelves
- Assist the Sales Representative as necessary in terms of placing supplementary orders, ensuring expiring goods are noted and liquidated
- Act as relief for Sales Representatives on leave.
- Support the promotion of the Company’s brands through continuous updating of product knowledge
- Assist team members in setting up new walls
- Update wall planogram as necessary in accordance with guidance from Merchandising Supervisor and Brand Managers
- Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company

The incumbent will be required to develop, recommend and implement marketing plans and promotions and work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Promotions and Merchandising teams to facilitate the achievement of optimum brand equity, sales, quality, distribution, visibility, price, placement and promotion of the assigned brands to enhance the Company’s image as a preferred supplier in the Industry.
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Development and management of brand strategies, communications and marketing campaigns through creation of annual marketing plans, using various effective platforms to reach target customer.
- Implement marketing plans, promotions, media and product launches for assigned brands to facilitate the achievement of the Company’s marketing objectives.
- Carry out market research, stay current and monitor market trends, competitive activities and conduct consumer insights, to identify opportunities and key issues and areas for investment.
- Conduct brand sales analysis and use category insight to understand performance of brands, ensuring the required corrective actions are developed and implemented by channel, to drive volume and profitability.
- Achieve and monitor monthly sales and gross profit targets in keeping with departmental objectives.
- Manage A&P spend in line with budgeted, margin requirements and brand investment.
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Evaluate optimum quality, distribution, visibility, price, placement and promotion of the assigned brands in all trade channels.
- Prepare draft forecasts and budget proposals and administer approved A&P budgets in collaboration with suppliers, Business Unit Manager, Division Manager and/or Group Product Manager, ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and tracked.
- Conduct regular trade audits, monitoring existing brand portfolio, competitive activity, promotional trends and identify opportunities and areas for investment, including appropriate tactical initiatives to counteract such activity.
- Monitor product expiration dates and damages of assigned brands at the Warehouse and implement measures to keep expiries to a minimum.
- Assist with inventory management – ICM forecasting – to ensure minimization of stock-outs, reduction in slow moving stock and liquidation of discontinued products and monitoring of expiry dates.
- Be the liaison and work closely with Principals to manage brands in the market.
- Create and disseminate tools needed for sales, promotions and merchandising team to launch/introduce products in line with road map.
- Perform other related duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company.

- Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.

The Warehouse Supervisor supports the Shift Team Lead with overseeing the assigned warehouse, ensuring adherence to good warehousing practices, high levels of productivity and safety, while protecting the Company’s assets.

We are seeking to recruit suitable candidates for the following position in the Distribution Centre:
WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Supports the planning and coordinating of the shift’s activities with the Shift Team Lead (STL), reporting on attendance and ensuring labour and equipment requirements are in alignment with daily operational objectives.
- Walks the warehouse footprint, inspecting stored goods, pallets and bins, enforcing compliance with Safety and Good Warehousing Practices while reporting on non-conformances to the STL.
- Conducts daily inspections to verify goods are properly packed and stored to supplier specifications, ensuring product quality and area cleanliness.
- Ensures compliance with all rules, policies and procedures and reports breaches immediately to the STL’s.
- Assists STL’s with driving high productivity, safety and quality performance with all Warehouse Staff.
- Receives, validates and processes goods returned from the trade in accordance with the Returns Standard Operating Procedure, accounting for paperwork and safe storage of products.
- Ensures Operator’s fill out equipment checklist before operating the equipment at the beginning of their shift.
- Participates in quarterly and daily cycle and physical stock counts assisting with investigative work and retrieval of support documentation aimed at ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Provides support services during employee absences, by performing the Verification and Dispatch operations ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Supports and assists the STL’s with the updating and maintaining of key performance metrics.
- Assists with updating time cards, for any overtime, allowances and subsistence incurred during the period and absences taken.
- Performs other key supporting roles, depending on resource constraints and work demands as directed by the Shift Team Lead
- Ensures room target temperatures are monitored and maintained for product quality, reporting fluctuations and malfunctions to the STL’s and Facilities Department as required.
- Monitors the process for banded goods, tracks and balances the Order Request against movement of goods, tracks item code changes to ensure the correct quantity of cases was moved and all goods are accounted for to ensure accuracy & completeness.
- Supervises the dispatching of vehicles ensuring dispatch and delivery KPIs are met and that loads are economical and prioritized based on set criteria.
- Leads the receiving function using the Warehouse Management System to verify and receive physical items and quantities against the Purchase Order at assigned location.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Five (5) CXC / Ordinary Level passes, including Math and English
- A minimum of four (4) years’ Supervisory experience working in a warehouse environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and any other related software
Key Competencies:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player, with the ability to work with staff at all levels
