The objective of this role is to develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms. Monitor and respond to queries and comments on social media platforms.
Job Purpose & Summary:
The objective of this role is to develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms. Monitor and respond to queries and comments on social media platforms. Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content. Attend events and produce live social media content.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop content plan for Social Media platforms (alongside brand managers)
- Creation of content calendar, along with captions/copy
- Create engaging text, images and video content as per brand plans
- Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
- Suggest new ways to attract prospective clients, like promotions and competitions, email marketing, google display ads etc. and make recommendations accordingly
- Research audience preferences and discover trends that will benefit JMMB brand on digital landscape
- Social Media Listening for all platforms
- Measure and monitor competitive activities and performance
- Create listening tools for JMMB brand across digital landscape and monitor accordingly
- Lead Management:
- Facilitate online conversations with clients and respond to queries
- Channel leads to the respective departments for follow up
- Reporting/Monitoring and feedback:
- Report on online reviews and feedback from clients and fans
- Facilitate online conversations with clients and respond to queries
- Monthly analytic reports
- Attend Live events for content curation
- Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
- Any other assigned duties
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Associate degree in Marketing/ Communications or other related field from a recognized institution
- Certification in Digital Media strategy
- At least 3 years, related experience and/or training in Digital Marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Expertise experience in managing social media platforms
- Experience using Canva or graphics software
- Experience with SEO/Google display network
- Experience with Email marketing
Skills:
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills in order to convey the needs of the organization effectively
- Must be good at establishing and maintaining relationships with clients (internal and external) and suppliers.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, and they must be able to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Quantitative and analytic skills are needed to formulate and follow budgets and to understand and negotiate contracts.
- Must stay on top of trends, trending software, and or digital solutions
- Must be solutions oriented in thinking.
- Must have excellent presentation skills (PPT or Canva)
