JOB SUMMARY
Housekeepers with Hadco Experiences at Asa Wright Nature Centre are responsible for ensuring general cleanliness throughout the Facility, providing tidy and sanitary amenities to guests. This position is an entry level position which requires physical fitness and endurance. Essential duties include sweeping, mopping and cleaning all areas assigned including but not limited to; Guest rooms, Public Spaces, Washrooms, Shop, Corridors and Furniture. They must adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures and must report any issues that arise promptly to Management.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Housekeeper reports to the Operations Supervisor.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensure guest rooms and all public Spaces are maintained in accordance with established standards.
- Clean guest rooms as per schedule, including bathrooms.
- Dust and polish furniture.
- Vacuum sweep and sanitize floors.
- Empty bins.
- Change linens and towels and restock toiletries.
- Provide laundry services to guests.
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping team to complete daily work schedules.
- Report any issues requiring Maintenance to Operations Supervisor immediately.
- Maintain proper personal hygiene at all times.
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform other any duties that maybe required to develop and enrich the business performance of the facility as requested by management.

Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances. Checking the availability of accommodation or transportation on the customers’ desired travel dates.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Reservations Agent reports to the Reservations Manager.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Take hotel room reservations
- Upsell client’s products and services applicable to customers’ needs
- Assisting is the Gift Shop
- Capture details of each support request in ticketing system
- Manage bookings via telephone, email and chat, ensuring the highest quality of service is delivered at first contact to our guest
- Answer phones and assist customers in making, altering, or canceling reservations
- Respond to emails with reservation information, confirmations, and additional details
- Advise customers regarding ongoing promotions or available upgrades that may enhance their experience.

HSE Roles and Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:
Responsibilities of the Reservations Manager:
- Provide all drivers/loaders with precise instructions of their responsibilities for correct working methods to ensure that they do not allow operatives to take unnecessary risks.
- Conduct HSE Toolbox Talks at least once (1) per month.
Safety Equipment
- The Reservations Manager will ensure that Supervisors and all other Employees are aware of, and comply with, requirements for safe work practices as well as safe and healthful conditions on job sites.
HSE Inspections
- The Reservations Manager shall conduct, at a minimum one HSE inspection every three (3) months to ensure that:
- All work areas comply with HADCO Group and project HSE guidelines and SOPs.
- If unsafe conditions exist, corrective action is taken and Management and HSE Manager are informed of inspection results.
- All sub-contractors and sub-contractor personnel comply with applicable HSE regulations where applicable.
In the Event of an Accident:
The Reservations Manager shall assist in incident investigation and reporting process, in accordance with HADCO Group’s SOPs. They will review all accidents with Supervisors and submit a full accident report to the HSE Manager for review who will then submit it to the Co-Chief Executive officer. The Reservations Manager will work with Management to ensure corrective actions are taken in a timely manner to alleviate causes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Amenable to shifting schedules, including night shifts
- Average to advanced written and spoken English
