The incumbent is expected to assist in the planning, coordinating and monitoring of the effective management of the Down the Trade sales team to ensure optimum distribution, penetration, gross profit, sales, visibility, price, placement and promotion for the portfolio of brands to enhance the Company’s image as a preferred supplier in the industry and enhance our service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Sales Representatives, ensuring that their assigned routes are properly serviced and that products are visible and / or available where required.
- Work along with assigned Sales Representatives and Merchandisers on their routes to implement management objectives.
- Prepare and submit required reports for submission to the DTT Sales Manager-F&G
- Drive and monitor sales, distribution and penetration to surpass brand, volume and profit objectives for customers in the Down The Trade Channel through effective and efficient use of resources
- Assist with the development of monthly quotas for Sales Representatives and provide assistance in the preparation of their scheduled plans for servicing customers.
- Ensure Monthly Net Sales, Gross Profit, Distribution and penetration objectives are achieved for each sales representative on their assigned routes
- Conduct customer visits to ensure the effectiveness of services rendered by sales team and identify, investigate and initiate corrective action on issues adversely impacting sales performance.
- Identify opportunities for sales growth with new and existing customers and develop appropriate strategies ensuring that they are executed in a timely manner.
- Ensure new products are listed on a timely basis and develop plans to grow customer database
- Investigate and respond to customer demands, complaints or problems in an accurate and timely manner so as to ensure the achievement of established sales objectives.
- Review the Accounts Receivable ageing report on a regular and consistent basis to ensure they are in-line with Company policy and inform required follow up action.
- Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company
Knowledge and Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent qualification in Sales or Marketing, Bachelor’s degree would be an asset.
- At least four (4) years’ experience in a similar or related position with at least three (3) years at a management level.
- Or relevant combination of training and experience
- Must have a vehicle in good working condition

Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside medical professionals promoting BPI products/solutions in Laboratories at Private and Public Institutions
- Supervise Sales/Med Reps to ensure Sales targets met for Specific Lines
- Attain (and if possible exceeding) annual sales targets
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information.
- Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections, based on customers’ needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
- Attend sales and trade meetings, and read related publications in order to obtain information about market conditions, business trends, and industry developments.
- Visit establishments to evaluate needs or to promote product or service sales and expand business
- Keep up-to-date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations
- Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers’ needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
- Prepare sales presentations or proposals to explain product specifications or applications.
- Initiate sales campaigns and follow marketing plan guidelines in order to meet sales expectations.
- Complete product and development training as required.
- Recommend ways for customers to alter product usage in order to maximize opportunities
- Consult with medical personnel regarding technical problems with products.
- Study information about new products so that equipment and supplies can be accurately depicted and proper recommendations made.
- Arrange for installation and commissioning of products.
- Attend Business review meetings with management.
- Forecast sales, complete ICMs, manage KOL meetings and specific Key objectives for supplier
- Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company.
Knowledge and Experience:- BSc Degree or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Laboratory experience will be an asset
- Or relevant combination of training and experience

We are seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position in the Food and Grocery Division:
PURCHASING ASSISTANT
Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Prepares the Inventory Order Control or Material Requirement Planning report for review by the Brand Managers/ Marketing Manager and Divisional Director and prepares and submits the approved purchase orders to suppliers.
- Ensures all purchase orders are submitted ahead of supplier deadlines and in line with Supply Chain Purchasing, Inventory & Supplier Policies
- Cultivates mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and references Service Level Agreements to ensure a high level of Supplier Delivery Performance
- Prepares, analyze and verify reports for internal customers and suppliers to improve planning and performance throughout the supply chain.
- Participates in troubleshooting system failures and tracking implementation of corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement
- Participates in the determination and makes recommendations of Optimal Order quantities, incoterms and timing of orders
- Monitors & reports on Supplier Delivery Performance (OTIF)
- Monitors inventory levels and reports anomalies and possible supply disruptions to the Marketing Manager and other relevant stakeholders in the Division.
- Participates in the on-going effort of SKU rationalization and data cleansing
- Produces and provides accurate procurement forecasts as required with necessary recommendations
- Ensures the timely logging, expediting and tracking of open purchase orders and dissemination of weekly open-order status reports to the Marketing Manager
- Proposes new initiatives that will help further optimize the efficiency and reliability of the supply chain
Knowledge & Experience:
- CIPS Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations (Level 3) or an Associate’s Degree in a similar field
- Minimum two (2) years relevant working experience.
- Strong data analysis skills
- Purchasing experience in a FMCG environment would be considered an asset
- Experience working with an ERP software would be an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

- Manage customer’s account within the limits of the credit facilities offered to them in accordance with Company policy – collection of payments, delivery of statements/invoices & credit notes.
- Continuously maintain a working knowledge of all company products, services, pricing and promotions.
- Participate in stock counts.
- Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company.
Knowledge and Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) CXC passes, including Mathematics & English.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in B2B sales
- Industry experience in targeted channels is highly desirable (Office Buildings, Manufacturing, Hospitality) or relevant combination of training and experience
- Must have a vehicle in good working condition
