TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR (Guyana)
COMPANY: TRANS GUYANA AIRWAYS
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
SUPERVISES: NIL
PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE:
The Training & Development Coordinator is a strong Administrator whom will be responsible for planning, implementing and coordination of all non-technical training within the CGOC. He/she will be the main point of contact for all training related enquiries, communicating and coordinating with Department Manager and participants. The role will support the Training and Development Director, and Training Instructor with all administrative duties as it pertains to the execution of training programs with the CGOC.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
- Five (5) subjects CXC/ GCE, including English language.
- Three (3) years’ experience in an administrative role.
- Above Average written and communication skills.
- Project Management Exposure is considered an asset.
- Intermediate Computer skills (Microsoft Office and PowerPoint animation).
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify in conjunction with the Director of Training and Development internal/external programs to address competency gaps.
- Develop non-technical training aids such as manuals and handbooks.
- Inform Employees/Department Manager about training options.
- Maintain Training records, and other Administrative Duties aligned with Training Department.
- Liase with the Library of CAMS and TGA, and Company Administrator as it pertains to training records.
- Handle logistics for training activities including venue and equipment.
- Coordinate off-site/on-sight training activities for non-technical training.
- Manage and maintain in-house training equipment and facilities.
- Support in the designing and developing training agendas and materials and ensure consistency of the training sessions within an Administrative capacity.
- Develop and maintain a data base of participants who are required to attend either new or reoccurring training sessions.
- Manage all logistics for the training sessions and support through organization of necessary materials, facilities, equipment and refreshments.
- Maintain training attendance, rosters, records and facilitator/attendee training materials.
- Maintain questionnaires and evaluation forms to track participants’ satisfaction levels with the training programs, training contents and trainers.
- Ensure appropriate monitoring, documentation and evaluation of training actives to measure the impact of the Training Programs.
- Support day-to-day Training and Development operations including answering employee questions, needs, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner; ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Support the Training and Development Director in creation of Management reports related to training effectiveness.
- You are expected to travel as the need arises on behalf of the Company to attend meetings, customers, regulatory bodies, prospective clients, along with training to both offsite and head office locations within the execution of your duties.
- Any other duties as assigned.
