      Green Agenda Manager – Green Agenda Project

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      Overall

      • Develops and manages an Alternative Energy Plan for organization
      • Develops Philosophy of the Waste Management System which involves Industrial Waste, Effluent Discharge, Oil spill clean-up waste, electronic waste and office waste.
      • Manages and executes the Waste Management Philosophy within budget, schedule and quality assurance limits.
      • Manages the identification, quantification and engineering to reduce methane emissions across onshore and offshore.
      • Manages EOR initiatives and stakeholders for carbon dioxide reductions with external stakeholders Government appointed committees.
      • Manages Regulatory requirements.
      • Develops and delivers communications and interface plan within cross-functional teams.
      • Supports the ESG Committee as required.
      • Develop and Manages Department Budget
      • Leads and manages a cross functional, multi-disciplinary engineering team to achieve the efficient delivery of the Green Agenda.

      Specific

      • Engineering: Manages engineering solutions for vapour recovery and reduction in fugitive methane emissions as well as infrastructure for EOR initiatives and Rationalization Studies.
      • Contractor Management: Manages multiple contractors and key performance indicators as per defined metrics.
      • Interface Management: Manages external relationships with Regulatory requirements, partnerships and stakeholders.

      EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
      Minimum Qualification / Training:
      • University degree in Engineering or Environmental Management Degree.

      Minimum Experience:

      • Ten (10) years’ experience in operations with substantial exposure to Environmental, Process, Mechanical engineering preferably in an upstream oil and gas company.
      • At least three (3) years of professional experience in technical activities related to green growth, climate change, GHGs emission accounting and analysis.
      • Project delivery experience, including managing the delivery of results on time and on budget.
      • Proven experience leading teams.
      • Demonstrable experience in high-level, strategic planning and interface management skills.

      Job Specific Skills:

      • Management of industrial gases such as methane and carbon dioxide.
      • Waste management and disposal, and/or environmental regulatory compliance.

      Contract Specialist

      To manage the contracting process, ensure compliance with internal contracting standards and legal requirements; sets and achieves objectives which add value to the organization and develop strategies to identify, manage and mitigate contractual risks in the service lines/ category.

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Assists in the development of Invitation to Bids and Requests for Proposals (ITBs/RFP) etc, and draft contracts prior to execution, as well as the review of Supplier/Contractor proposals, including all relevant parts of exhibits as included in the bid invitation.
      • Assists in the development of long-term procurement goals and business strategies in alignment with Company’s strategic direction.
