Senior Voice Services Engineer

What’s The Role
The CWC Senior Voice Services Engineer is responsible for providing direct hands-on support for the Enterprise Voice Services, Telepresence, and Collaboration applications, across CWC Business Units. The focus will be on the implementation and support of technologies to provide highly reliable, supportable, and technically superior Enterprise Voice and Collaboration Services.
What You´ll Do
- Exercise voice network operation oversight to ensure security, policies, procedures, and projects are executed consistently with the overall company goals and objectives.
- Lend expertise to in-country teams and task forces.
- Take responsibility for capacity planning and scheduling.
- Plan and implement new infrastructure, enhancement, and major modifications.
- Ensure the protection of company information assets and continuity of key service infrastructure.
- Deploy voice network infrastructure to support new service offerings or enhance existing services.
- Respond to escalations and provide resolution to business unit issues.
- Integration and deployment of systems, tools, and applications in support of the Voice Network infrastructure management and service level improvements.
- Implement business continuity by performing solid disaster recovery planning and mitigation of service failures through the implementation of critical redundancies.
- Enhance network improvement through the implementation of tools for proactive monitoring of all network and security threats.
Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science related discipline or equivalent
- Cisco CCNA, CCNP, Juniper JNCIA, JNCNP
- Minimum of 3 years practical experience administrating and supporting IP networks in a medium to large organization
- 2-3 years of knowledge in managing IP Networks and Data Center technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and IP networking (including WAN/LAN technologies)
- Strong understanding of Internet Routing Protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and RIP) and the OSI protocol stack is essential.
- Experience working with any of the following Sectors: Telecommunication, Service Provider, Data Center Hosting, or Technology manufacture.

Senior Engineer Operations Support Systems

What’s The Role
The Senior Engineer Operations Support Systems leads requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment Tier-3 support, and vendor. He/she will coordinate and collaborate with all IT and business teams to deliver complete and integrated product solutions supporting the CWC business objectives.
What You´ll Do
- Manages SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle), implementation, integration, and Tier 3 support, according to current industry best practices, for the IT component of all OSS solutions across CWC ClusterCos (including, but not limited to, requirements analysis, application configuration, documentation, vendor management).
- Collaborates with IT Operations, DTO, and Change Management on various requests (including, but not limited to, agreeing on the scope and functionality of the change requirements to be implemented, developing the detailed design, and estimating the effort for configuration).
- Collaborates with DTO & QA on the release of solutions under the scope (including, but not limited to, project planning and tracking, knowledge transfer, test support, bug fixing, and documentation).
- Implements and enforces SOX GITC controls pertaining to applications and processes under the scope.
- Develops and tracks budget pertaining to applications and processes under the scope.
- Manages operational components for vendors of OSS platforms (including, but not limited to vendor governance, KPIs definition and monitoring, performance reviews, relationship management).
- Contributes to IT roadmap and architecture definition.
Knowledge & Experience
Preferred education/ qualifications:
- Bachelor level, Information Technology and/or comparable technical engineering degree.
Experience:
- Ideally educated to degree level or alternate appropriate industry experience.
- Demonstrable experience of working in a large telco in a complex operational environment managing cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience engaging effectively with senior-level management.
- Proven experience in managing diverse and geographically distributed teams.
- Experience and appreciation of working in a customer-focused environment essential
