Accounts Supervisor
(Salary range: $8,000 – $10,000)
The Assistant Accountant supports the Accounting Department and has oversight of the preparation, computation, research and analysis of all Accounting data, related to the Front Desk, Costings, Banking, Company Health plan, Comptroller Payments and Payables. He/she may contribute to the production of Financial Statement as directed by the Accountant.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance/Accounting, or related area and/or
- Professional Certification in Accounting such as ACCA level 2 and above
- MBA with specialisation in Accounting / Finance
- Must have supervisory experience
- Minimum of three years of Accounting experience in a large, fast-paced, deadline oriented organisation and/or Auditing Firm.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, relevant tax legislation and working with best practice policies
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Proficiency in Peachtree will be an asset
- Experience in Payroll and using Payroll software (Micro Pay) will be an asset
- Experience producing accurate financial reports, statutory payments etc., an asset
- Combination of experience and/or qualifications will be considered

Accounting Technician II
(Salary Range is $6,500 – 7,000)
The Accounting Technician supports the Accounting Department deliver on its objectives, by accurately performing basic to moderately complex General Accounting, Account Payable and Receivables activities and functions, in a timely manner. The Accounting Technician is also required to assist the Payroll unit in achieving its goals of timely and accurate payroll administration, payment of taxes, NIS and related functions. The Accounting Technician may be required to perform several Accounting tasks including Payables, Receivables, Reconciliations, Recording of Sales, Purchase Orders and other related tasks
Requirements
- Certified Accounting Technician Level 3 OR ACCA Level 1 OR B.Sc Accounting, Business Management or related discipline
- At least two years working experience in a General Accounting position; experience should include reconciliations/costings/accounts payable/accounts receivable
- Must have at least one year working experience in Payroll
- Must have experience working with MicroPay or EZ Pay Software
- Must have knowledge in both Accounting and Payroll
- Experience working with Peachtree an asset
- Experience working with confidential data an asset
- Must have experience working with strict deadlines
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel
- Combination of experience and/or qualifications will be considered

Retail Operations Manager
(Salary Range is $8,500 basic, $1,500 traveling)
We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our existing team. The role requires an experienced Retail professional, with a high work ethic to lead the Retail team to deliver and surpass sales and profit targets whilst minimizing costs and inefficiencies. The ideal candidate must be meticulous, detailed, with strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to provide and create analytical reports and make sound decisions. He must be able to work independently and in a team environment. The candidate must be able to supervise and guide a diverse team and hold them accountable to established performance standards.
Requirements:
- Sc Management (or equivalent)in Sales, Business Management or related area
- Post-Grad Diploma or MBA in related field an asset
- Excellent communication/reporting, analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Minimum of five years in a Management / Supervisory role, with at least three being in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Must be able to work on Weekends/ Public Holidays and extended hours
- Must have a reliable vehicle

Buyer – Sporting Line – Francis Fashions Shoe Locker & Sportworld
(Salary Range is $8,500 basic, $1,500 travelling)
Responsible for analyzing market trends, negotiating with vendors to obtain best prices and scheduling deliveries, filling stores with fashionable clothing/sporting items and forecasting customer demand. Ability to draw on marketing analysis and fashion skills to forecast what the public will wear is vital. Duties may include evaluating inventory, researching new suppliers and traveling to trade shows.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Marketing OR
- Qualification in the field of purchasing for department stores;
- Excellent communication skills, analytical skills, negotiation skills and ability to meet deadlines;
- Computer Literate – Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;
- At least five (5) years’ relevant work experience, preferably in the retail industry;
- Must be able to travel abroad as needed;
- Must have a valid Passport and U.S. visa;
- Must be able to work on weekends/extended hours as required
- Ability to speak a foreign language is a definite asset, particularly Spanish;

Relief Manager
(Salary $x,xxx.00)
The Relief Manager has accountability and responsibility for an assigned retail store, and/or will be assigned to another store as and when needed. He/she must be an experienced Manager with the a good understanding of managing retail sales teams, Merchandising, Cashing Procedures and all other key aspects of Retail Operations. The Relief Manger must be good at motivating teams to achieve sales targets and must be able to infuse a “go-getter, sales driven, customer focussed” attitude among their teams. The position requires the ability to work seven days a week with longer hours at peak periods. The Relief Manager is expected to be on call as needed.
Requirements:
- Sound Secondary School education as evidenced by a full Certificate (Passes at Math and English Language compulsory)
- Further Education as evidenced by an Associate Degree (or equivalent eg. ABS or other Professional Certification) in Business Management, Accounting, Marketing, Human Resource Management or related area a definite asset.
- At least three years’ experience in a Management or Supervisory role
- Experience in Retail, Sales, Inventory Control, Merchandising and Customer Service Management a definite asset.
- Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office Suite, experience using Point of Sales software an asset
