JOB DESCRIPTION
CONTRACTUAL POSITION
JOB TITLE: Training ManagerJOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the management of the team that develops effective end user documentation and training material used to prepare users to function in their HR and Payroll environment.REPORTS TO: Project Manager, Transformation Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts interviews with functional team members to develop a clear understanding of the procedures for using each module of the software application
Reconciles application Training unit balances
Records staff application courses taken and identifies any training deficits Writes Unit Cabinet notes for purchase of application training units and oversees training approval
Contributes to the design of end user training programmes in the software application
Maintains training documentation including updates and other changes
Develops clear and user friendly policies and procedures to define quality standards
Validates accuracy of end user procedures
Edits and finalises documentation
Maintains end-user documentation including changes and other updates
Develops the user training strategy and training plan
Supervises the development of training material including outlines, text, handouts, test and trainee feedback forms
Designs and tests practical examples for incorporation in training material
Coaches facilitators in the delivery of training programmes
Designs and maintains control logo for issue of end-user and training manuals and subsequent changesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
KNOWLEDGE:
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Experience in development of PeopleSoft EUT module development
Experience and proven track record in delivery of adult training
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience in, and is, comfortable with working in a team environment
Goal oriented and demonstrates the ability to meet project deadlinesMINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Bachelorâs degree and experience in IT training field
Strong computer skills in particular, familiarity with publication software
Prior preparation of User Manuals will be an asset
At least three (3) yearsâ experience in the implementation of ERP Application solutions in HR and Payroll
Experience in HR Production Solution for GovernmentApplications are to be e-mailed to Applications.Finance@gov.tt no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 10th, 2021.
