Also, they took Breakfast Tours to view the birds when they are leaving in the morning. Now, Winston Nanan’s Caroni Bird Sanctuary Tours have added Sunset Dinner Tours to the list of options. Tourism Trinidad Ltd in partnership with Trinidad’s tourism stakeholders hosted an adventure in the Caroni Swamp Bird Sanctuary for media personnel on January 28, 2021.

Celebrate family occasions

Wholesome outdoor family activities may be what is needed to cure anything brought on by social distancing and stay at home measures. With the current pandemic not seeming to be letting up anytime soon, the folks at Winston Nanan’s Caroni Bird Sanctuary Tours may have what you need.

These tours are ideal for celebrating family occasions or just to get out of the house. You would be treated to a full three-course menu prepared by Ramsam Restaurant. The first course was pumpkin soup, followed by steamed lobster in garlic sauce and Hong Kong styled fish.

They were paired with fried plantain, creamy cassava, sweet and sour vegetables and chunky vegetables. The dessert was New York cheesecake and Red Velvet cake. Refreshments onboard included red wine and a selection of fresh juices which included coconut water, lime and cane juices.

Comfort, low music and beautiful ambience

Dining comfort and social distancing protocols were accommodating. The boats were at 50% capacity, and had a table installed to accommodate dining while maintaining adequate spacing between passengers. Guests were also treated to some easy listening music performed by brothers Daniel and Michael Ryan. They played the saxophone and guitar respectively at a low level to add to the already beautiful ambience.

Lectured boat tours
