The Materials Assistant 2 – Customs is responsible for ensuring the accurate classification and clearance of goods (import & export) in accordance with Customs Laws and Procedures.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordination of shipments
- Monitors the arrival of all incoming shipments through communication with foreign vendor, freight forwarder or shipping agent.
- Verifies the accuracy of import documents received from shipping agencies and foreign vendors.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
i. Project Management: identifies and develops projects for the maintenance and improvement of the warehouse facilities, equipment and service delivery. Ensures that budgeting, planning, preparation of Scope of Works, coordination, tendering, oversight and completion of approved CAPEX and other identified projects are completed on time, within budget and within scope. vi. Financial Management: Ensures all projects and maintenance activities are captured in the annual budgets. Tracks items sent for repairs to ensure proper asset management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an industrial environment.
Technical and Business Process Skills/Knowledge
- Ability to optimize or reduce inventory through identification of surplus, duplicate, obsolete or slow-moving items.

What’s the role?
The Senior Production Technologist will deliver PT input for the development of brownfield and/or greenfield projects throughout the ORP phases. Deliverables includes (but not limited to) conceptual design of well completions, design of sand control, input to Well Functional Specifications, worst case discharge, unloading plan and input to WRFM. Snr PT should be closely involved in detailed well and completion design with a focus on the detailed engineering of gravel pack fluid and cementing and actual execution of those.
The role is mainly responsible for –

- Creating and maintaining the well models (Prosper) and integrated production system modelling (IPSM). Support and review forecasting of quarterly LE/LV and OP submissions
- Delivering and maintaining the subsurface isolation strategy, defining abandonment strategy and concepts
- Follow up on Technology Development projects to support new and challenging well concepts.
- Responsible for delivering high quality PT technical work for all activities across the life cycle of asset from exploration to abandonment.

The incumbent will also be responsible for providing legal support to the Corporate Attorney for the Company. The position of Legal & Compliance Officer provides a range of professional legal and compliance support services to the corporate legal function. The position operates under general guidance with access to supervisory assistance as required and functions within clearly prescribed rules, regulations and internal controls. The position is bounded by clear performance expectations and has no financial authority.
Nature & Scope
The Incumbent has the responsibility for the effective implementation of the Company’s compliance function and legal support as directed. The position interfaces directly with the President, Vice Presidents, Managers, Supervisors and the Board of Directors and Shareholders for PPGPL and its subsidiaries. Externally the incumbent interfaces with auditors, governmental agencies and members of the NGC Group. The position will also be required to interface with international agencies and regulators.
COMPLIANCE
1)Develops and maintains an up-to-date Compliance Repository and Compliance Framework (which includes policies, procedures and standards required) for the Company.
2)Conducts Compliance Reviews as and where required throughout the Company, in accordance with the established procedures for same.
3)Directs activities to determine those areas of risk for which compliance activities should be undertaken.
4)Works with appropriate parties to authorize and implement corrective action to resolve Compliance and Integrity Program deficiencies.
5)Prepares a Compliance Report which accords with the legal, regulatory, policy/procedural, statutory and state requirements for the Company and requirements of the Audit Sub-Committee and the Board of Directors.
6)Conducts analytics on compliance data and generates appropriate reporting to be distributed to the Leadership Team and/or Audit Committee, or such other persons, as directed.
7)Directs efforts to communicate Corporate Compliance Repository and compliance plans, including written materials and training programs designed specifically to promote understanding of compliance issues, laws and regulations, and consequences of non-compliance. Establish regular training processes and documentation of this training.
8)Maintains all compliance-related records and ensures that they are appropriately managed and secured in accordance with legal/retention policy requirements and the Company’s policy of confidentiality and security of critical corporate records and proprietary information.
9)Prepares and dispatch, within required timelines, all ministerial and or statutory reports related to the compliance function.
LEGAL SUPPORT
10)Conducts research in relation to the laws, including regulations, manuals, guidelines and principles binding on the Company and the best practice/international standards to support the Compliance Framework.
11)Maintains awareness of laws and regulations, keeping abreast of current changes that may affect the Company.
12)Provides support to the Corporate Attorney/Company Secretary as may be assigned from time to time including
- Preparation and review of contracts, policies, leases etc. and collaboration with the respective departments to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Research and preparation of legal opinions on matters of corporate relevance and importance.
- Supporting the planning, organizing and conduct of Board/sub-committee/shareholder meetings.
13)Executes any other related duties as assigned, competently and effectively.
Job Specifications
Minimum Acceptable Academic Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Law Degree AND Legal Education Certificate
- Auditing experience/qualification would be an asset.
- Professional Compliance Certification would be an asset.
AND
Minimum Number of Years of Relevant Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience in the oil and gas industry
