The Logistics Manager is responsible for the oversight of the daily functions of the Logistics and Warehousing operations at Heritage Petroleum Company Limited. This position drives the efficiencies and monitoring of contracts and performance, inventory warehouse optimization and fleet management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees the coordinationbetween Logistics and Warehousing, and Business Units and Departments to ensure on time delivery of services.
- Prioritises emerging work activities with the 8Q Activity Set, confirms schedule do-ability (subject to site constraints) to deliver in-year business plan and determine intervention actions.
- Manages and reports Logistics and Warehousing KPI’s, such as logistics and warehouse spend, on time delivery, load efficiency and expedite costs.
- Establishes corrective actions for underperforming metrics to ensure performance standards are consistently met.
- Refines workflows and implement recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
- Manages the movement, storage, and processing of inventory and provides inventory report as required.
- Develops, analyses and maintains materials requirements planning and forecasts for the operational and strategic requirements of the organisation.
- Responsible for the daily activities of local warehousing functions, and external warehousing suppliers including conducting physical inventory counts.
- Oversees the organisation’s fleet of vehicles.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Serves as a member of the COO Leadership Team contributing to the overall Operations Long Term Strategy.
- Manages Logistics and Warehouse Safety and Operational Risks ensuring compliance with the requisite policies and procedures.
- Manages a team of direct reports, driving the appropriate behaviours to build enduring capability and achieve success.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Business Management, Engineering and/or equivalent professional experience in Logistics/Warehousing and Supply Chain.
- Over ten (10) years’ experience in Logistics, five (5) of which must be at Management Level.
- Strong leadership experience across the breadth of services: Supply Base, Supply Vessels, Fuel Management, Materials Management, Waste Management, Pipe yard Operations, Fleet Management.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills.
- Strong experience in Strategy Development.
- Strong experience in Contractor Performance Management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong Knowledge of ERP Systems.
