Information & Communications Technology Manager
Heritage Petroleum Company Limited
The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for ensuring Heritage’s technology strategy and operating environment is aligned to its strategic and operational objectives and is supported by appropriate applications, infrastructure, people, processes and practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develops and implements Heritage’s Information Technology strategy aligned to the overall organization strategy.
- Preserves information assets and critical information technology services by developing and implementing related enterprise-wide disaster recovery plans and back-up procedures.
- Ensures delivery of services and availability of systems that support Heritage’s operations by establishing and regularly testing Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and processes.
- Manages Risk exposure through the development and deployment of robust policies and procedures for all key areas of IT operations including change management, license management, access management, patch management and remediation of audit findings.
- Develops, tracks, and controls the information technology annual operating and capital expenditure budgets, preparing tender specifications and analyses proposals for new technology, computer and network equipment, software applications and telecommunications devices and oversees maintenance of equipment and network systems.
- Supports the Heads of Business areas on matters related to technology and on potential transactions requiring technical input.
- Research new solutions and technologies, and recommends appropriate innovations and improvements.
- Leads and fosters the innovation agenda of the company by overseeing and approving the development cost effective new applications, new materials and new improved production technologies
- Manages the Company IP and develops strategies to fully utilize IP to support operations and achievement of strategic goals.
- Maintains relationships with key IT vendors to ensure that productivity-led technology capabilities are explored on a regular basis.
- Manages the implementation of IT project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems.
- Develops objectives and key performance indicators for IT operations and utilizes Performance Management System to measure, manage, and motivate performance.
- Develops and implements staffing strategy and effectively leads a team of professionals by developing talent and cultivating a high-performance culture.
- Maintains awareness of technological advancement in the industry and amongst peers and adjusts strategy accordingly.
- Undertakes any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfill the job purpose.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS- A first degree (at least lower second class honours or a GPA of 3) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer and Information Sciences, Management Information Systems or a related discipline.
- MA/MSc/MBA in Information Systems Management or a related discipline will be an asset.
- At least fifteen (15) years’ experience in information technology, ten (10) of which should be at a managerial level. Experience in the Energy sector would be an asset.
- Sound knowledge of IT components, methodologies and best practices.
Job Specific Skills
- Project Management experience/exposure/training.
- Disaster Recovery / BCP exposure / training.
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor).
- Proven track record of the ability to initiate, plan and execute technical research projects.
- Proven record of leading companies through digital transformation and data science.
- Substantial exposure to data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems.
- Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management.
- Strong business acumen and familiarity with finance practices.
- Excellent innovation, creativity, analytical and team building skills.
- Strong leadership skills and solid oral/written communication skills.

Chief Procurement Officer
Heritage Petroleum Company Limited
To support executive leadership in implementing an integrated supply chain management and drive the procurement value chain across all businesses to realize significant cost savings
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assumes responsibility for the development and implementation of a global sourcing process.
- Manages demand and procurement planning, strategic stakeholder relationships and cost reduction strategies.
- Leads contract management (current and negotiations for new contracts).
- Manages performance of procurement, including driving transformation & optimization across all major procurement categories.
- Manage the execution of the complete Category Management & Contracting Process including Market Assessment, Sourcing Strategy development, Commercial Tender/negotiation and Contract Management activities for Packaging portfolio and collaborate with:
- Internal stakeholders in development and execution of procurement strategies, driving towards value maximization. Pre-award Phase.
- Internal & External (Suppliers) Stakeholders in ensuring robust contract management, delivering maximum value through implementing 20/40/40 approach from Demand Management and Specification optimization opportunities, achieving performance target and risk mitigation via each of the awarded contract/commercial deal.
- Monitors and maintains compliance to Company policies and procedures, Customs and Excise formalities and statutory requirements.
- Guides the review of policies, procedures and practices related to procurement of materials, equipment, supplies and services, the development of Strategic Agreements and the maintenance of quality standards.
- Develops strategic goals, objectives and key performance indicators for Procurement and utilizes Performance Management System to measure, manage, and motivate performance.
- Develops and implements staffing strategy and effectively leads a team of Procurement professionals by developing talent and cultivating a high performance culture.
- Directs the development of departmental budgets and monitors and controls utilization.
- Undertakes any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfill the job purpose.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Qualification
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering/ Management/ Law-LLB
- Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Graduate Diploma or equivalent
- Post Graduate in Business Administration: Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement will be an asset
Minimum Experience
- At least 15 years experience in supply chain management 8 of which must be at management level with significant experience in group level supply chain, vendor management, contracts and procurement management for downstream, upstream exploration.
- Experience on Strategic Sourcing (demand analysis, market analysis, strategy formulation, tender/negotiations), supplier transition, contract / supplier performance management and business risk mitigation.

- Good interpersonal relationship management, with the confidence and ability to build relationships with all levels of management and staff.
- Proven track record of execution excellence & delivering results.
- Highly tuned commercial acumen and curiosity with demonstrated ability to develop and deliver value from complex deals.
- Demonstrate Strong Leadership Attributes (Authenticity, Performance, Growth, Collaboration).
- Continuously driving supplier performance improvement.
- In-depth functional knowledge of CP tools, techniques and processes.
- Interpersonal and communications skills with ability to influence and motivate others.
- Project and change management skills, & relationship management skills with all stakeholders.
- Negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.
- Ability to drive change through a virtual team and non-direct reports demonstrating strong influencing capability.
