The Product Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Manager, Credit, Collections and Business Development with all aspects of the product life cycle, including, product development, marketing strategies, product launch, training, marketing collateral, and supporting our sales team.
PRODUCT ASSISTANT
JOB SUMMARY
The Product Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Manager, Credit, Collections and Business Development with all aspects of the product life cycle, including, product development, marketing strategies, product launch, training, marketing collateral, and supporting our sales team. Additionally, the Product Assistant will be tasked with evaluating product related processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to execute product and promotional strategies
- Prepare product updates
- Assist in preparing and performing product training
- Participate and prepare product related process documents
- Conduct on-going reviews of products, promotions, and competitive landscape
- Monitor and manage all content contracts
- Analyse and reconcile content rates
- Support project teams during the analysis and planning stages of development, work on other project phases like implementation and testing
- Prepare reports, aid in conducting presentations, based on meetings, findings, and feedback from various stakeholders
- Assist Manager with the development of business strategies to help promote product offerings
- Ensure adherence to applicable HSE legislation and policies as far as reasonably practicable
- Commit to attending all required HSE training
- Ensure all HSE assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are fulfilled on a continuous basis
- Delivers on any other special projects and assignment by the business as required
- Performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager/ Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
- An Associate or Bachelors’ Degree in Business Management or related study
- A minimum of one (1) year of work experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics will be an asset
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience in conflict resolution and negotiation
- Ability to work under pressure with little guidance in a fast-paced environment
- Strong performance orientation
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with an excellent ability to work under strict deadlines and to adapt to priorities that change often
- Accurate, alert and pays attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, reliability and professionalism
- Takes initiative and committed to excellence
- Thorough, precise, and collaborative
- Good interpersonal skills and superior ability to work well in teams
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision

JOB SUMMARY
The Collections Agent is responsible for communicating directly with customers to collect debts and resolve outstanding balances. This role requires a high level of customer service, persuasion, and negotiation skills, as well as a mind for problem-solving to work with customers to resolve their debts and collect payment. The Collections Agent also works closely with Accounts Receivables and Sales to develop strategies for collecting on delinquent accounts and to determine when further action is necessary.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing the Company debtor list to ensure customer remain within the agreed credit term.
- Contacting customers and informing them of their overdue bills.
- Advising customers on their payment options and suggesting methods of payments.
- Negotiating suitable payment plans.
- Ensuring customer payments are accurately recorded.
- Sending final notice warnings to customers when payments are not being made.
- Recommending to the Credit Manager legal action when customers fail to pay their debt.
- Recommending delinquent customers for disconnection.
- Responding to customer queries.
- Resolve billing and customer credit issues.
- Ensuring compliance with the Company’s credit policy.
- Delivers on any other special projects and assignment by the business as required
- Performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager/ Supervisor
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS- Minimum of five (5) CXC/GCE O’ Level passes including Mathematics and English Language
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel
