Point Lisas Nitrogen Limited invites applications from interested persons to fill the aforementioned position within the Supply Chain Department:

Job Objective:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Officer, the Supply Chain Assistant is generally accountable for the purchasing of required goods and services via the most competitive means available to PLNL and facilitates the delivery and receipt of such goods and services. The position combines vendor management, sourcing, competitive bid analysis, expediting and warehousing. The incumbent must consistently fulfill these requirements in accordance with Point Lisas Nitrogen’s values, business objectives and policy guidelines. Additionally, the incumbent must follow the Supply Chain Management Procedures and accepted best practices within the industry.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Five (5) GCE Ordinary Levels/ CXC/ CSEC subjects including Mathematics & English Language
Possession of a professional procurement qualification Level 4 CIPS or CPSM, Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Supply Chain environment, experience in a petrochemical plant or similar environment would be considered an asset.
Forklift Certification with a minimum of 1 year experience in forklift operations would be considered an asset.
Proficient in the MS Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Proficient knowledge of an ERP System, for example Enterprise E1 (JDE), SAP and Maximo would be an asset.
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic result-oriented environment
