JOB SUMMARY: The Chief Operations Officer will provide strategic oversight and direction in the areas of Flight Operations, Quality and Safety, Business Optimization and Customer Experience. Will provide leadership in project development, planning and operational effectiveness.
This position will be charged with impacting Caribbean Airline’s current and future success through, ensuring excellence in service delivery, establishing sound operational standards and efficient work practices, identifying and implementing innovative approaches to the work we do, and being involved in our growth strategies to include both affiliations as well as organic growth.

KEY DELIVERABLES:
SERVICE DELIVERY Provides strategic leadership and oversight of Airport and Flight Operations to ensure the delivery of excellence in customer service and satisfaction.
COST CONTROL: Maintains optimal resource planning, budgeting, allocation, utilization and management.
BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT- Analyzes and recommends changes in organizational systems, policies, and procedures, and provides oversight for consistent implementation to ensure continuous business process improvement across the business.
SAFETY AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: –Maintains oversight and ultimate responsibility for the Company’s Air Safety and Compliance management system. Ensures that Safety is given number one priority in our operations and drives a culture of strict safety compliance and improvement.
REVENUE GENERATION – Identify business opportunities and drive the development of proposals to grow the business. Coordinates the preparation of short, medium and long term operational plans and develops proposals that ensure the airline remain financially viable.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION:
You must possess a first degree in Engineering, Operations Management or Management. Post Graduate certification in any of the above fields would be desirable.
You must have a high degree of professional ethics and excellent judgment. You must display strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrate interpersonal, listening, oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
