      Job Summary:

      • To provide the communication support necessary to Caribbean South & East to achieve sales growth targets for the Bank’s Business Line groups.
      • Responsible for managing the customer journey (customer relationship management)
      • Responsible for managing the day-to-day development and implementation of the digital strategy and ongoing optimization
      • Responsible for the creation and execution of integrated communication and marketing strategies, and performance monitoring of marketing to support of these objectives including production, implementation and execution of all Marketing related activities including, but not limited to target market definition and reach, product positioning, advertising and promotion.



      Key Accountabilities:

      • SEO/M – Management and Optimization: Overall responsibility, ensuring marketing program success and achievement of targets, promoting offsite/onsite activities and interactions that help build digital media ranking, profile and traffic
      • Marketing Planning & Execution: Overall responsibility ensuring adherence to global communication guidelines, maintenance of equity of the Scotiabank brand,  and implementation of brand campaigns according to timelines & budget to support the revenue targets
      • Budget Management: Assist in the development and recommendation of the annual marketing budgets and ensure that budget is maximized factoring in seasonality, Demand Sales Revenue Plan and target ROI; Manage marketing budget, track expenses and provide monthly updates
      • Reporting: Partner with Card Analytics, Campaign Execution, Channel partners, Direct Marketing to fully understand campaign results, providing regular reports to share program successes, actionable insights and recommendations / next steps
      • Partner Relationship Management: Support retail business lines objectives in accordance with partnership initiatives, agencies and strategic partners, proactively sharing best practices and learning with peers and partners, acting as the primary point of entry into Marketing for the business line, ensuring integrating into the international and regional initiatives.
      • Special Projects:– Manage marketing initiatives and executions for partnerships/projects in collaboration with multiple stakeholders including all Bank Retail product groups, channels, partners, agencies and vendors.Functional Competencies:
      • A strong background in advertising, marketing communications
      • Initiative, forward thinking and creative problem solving skills with the ability to support or stimulate strategic solutions
      • Skilled in gaining commitment and alignment of various stakeholders through the use of strong interpersonal skills.
      • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
      • Strong negotiating skills to obtain the best prices from suppliers
      • Ability to prioritize and to multitask
      • Team focus in working and cooperating with others to achieve common goals and contributing to team morale
      • A degree or its equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Management Studies or a related Discipline
      • Professional Certifications: Google AdWords Qualified – Advertising Fundamentals, Google AdWords Qualified – Advanced Search, Google AdWords Qualified – Advanced Display & Google Analytics Qualified Individual Certification/ Working Knowledge of Digital Journey Mapping
      • Experience in SEM & SEO, Web Analytics, Digital Journey Mapping 

      Educational Background and Experience:

      • A degree or its equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Management Studies or a related Discipline
