      Maintenance Technician

      JOB PURPOSE

      • Carry planned and preventative maintenance on machinery according to company identified standards and policies for maintenance.

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Carries out planned, preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery as per the company’s policies and standards.
      • Preparation and documentation of all reports as determined by the Maintenance Management team.
      • Perform detailed mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic duties on the company equipment to repair and maintain a high standard of operating efficiency within the department.
      • Coach, train & supervise maintenance technicians I on maintenance activities.
      • Perform advanced mechanical, electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting on all related equipment.
      • Perform basic welding works for mechanical applications (bolt extractions, brackets reinforcements, etc.)
      • Perform any other relevant duties given by department heads.
      • Assist in other areas of work based on the needs of the department and any other area as necessary in support of Company activities.
      • All responsibilities and accountabilities must be executed in accordance with the company’s Human Resource, Quality Health and Safety Environment (QHSE) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures.

       REQUIREMENTS:

      • Associate Diploma in MEEET, EEET, MET or equivalent
      • A minimum of 2 years’ continuous experience working on Blow Moulding equipment in a Plant environment.
      • Knowledge of MAXIMO or equivalent Computer Maintenance Management Software would be considered an asset.
      • Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.

      Electrical/Instrumentation & Automation Technician

      JOB DUTIES

      1. Support maintenance shifts on all equipment relating to electrical, electronic, instrumentation and automation issues which may arise while still providing a high degree of efficiency, care and safety.
      2. Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests in a fast-paced environment.
      3. Able to comfortably work with voltages up to 1000volts AC & DC at times.
      4. Able to provide good field fault analysis on electronic devices such as instruments, networks, calibration, power and signal cabling, electro-pneumatic devices, digital equipment, etc. in single phase, three phase and control wiring applications.
      5. Able to provide good field fault analysis of control wiring, relay logic, motor controls, motor power circuits, VFD’s and other similar related devices.
      6. Able to provide good field fault analysis on PLC/HMI/PC based systems and control logic troubleshooting or modification if required
      7. Able to provide support in the programming of VFD’s, and other computer-based controllers or devices.
      8. Supports electrical equipment installations, reinstallations and modification works as determined necessary by the maintenance department (New equipment projects and retrofits).
      9. Carries out planned maintenance activities (preventative and corrective works) on all electrically related equipment to the company identified standards and policies.
      10. Solid understanding of electrical schematics, manual documentation and PLC/HMI code to facilitate effective troubleshooting
      11. Completing all daily, weekly, monthly checks and respective documentation of work orders, log entry etc.
      12. Assist mechanical maintenance technicians at times when the need arises.
      13. Operate on a three-shift based rotation to cover seven days of the week (six days on & two days off).
      14. Provide flexibility in working schedules surrounding electrical projects for installations, retrofits, commissioning, etc.
      15. Assist in training up of other maintenance technicians within the department at a lower skill level
      16. Assist in the preparation and reviews of documents, audits, planning, etc. of electrically related works to support the Zone Leader goals
      17. Provides good communication and assistance to superiors on electrical matters

      REQUIREMENTS:

      1. Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualifications in sound electrical/electronic/plc certification competencies
      2. Four (4) years experience as a E&I/automation Technician on electrical related equipment preferably in food & beverage industry
