Description
To Expedite the Dispatch of all orders, accurately and efficiently to ensure delivery within the requested time frame. To prepare customs entry, assessment and vouchers for payment of duty and VAT to clear general cargo import shipments in an expeditious manner.
SCOPE:
To Expedite the Dispatch of all orders, accurately and efficiently to ensure delivery within the requested time frame. To prepare customs entry, assessment and vouchers for payment of duty and VAT to clear general cargo import shipments in an expeditious manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Examines orders to ensure information and instructions are correct with regards to each order received.
- Books empty containers, obtain vessel information and date of export through agents and haulers
- Prepares and print lockers order and permit to accompany C82s’ to be release by In House Customs Officer prior to dispatch of containers.
- Exports containers at the various Ports
- Prepares documents for weekly Ex-Bond shipment, Embassies and Consulates
- Schedules delivery to Ex-Bond shops with Trucking company and accompany shipment to the customer.
- Releases container at Bond 4 and Tank Farm for Export.
- Signs Logbook at Bond 4, confirming container and seal number before containers leave for Export.
- Ensures all documents are submitted to security, customs officer and warehouse keeper before shipments leaves the compound, e.g. Pink/Blue copy of SAP invoice to security, copies of lockers & permits to customs & warehouse keeper.
- Prepares Cheques vouchers for approval to pay Trucking Company.
- Tracks Container on Internet to verify container delivery at Port of Destination.
- Prepares C82 in ASIS and use figures for processing of payments vouchers to Customs & Excise.
- Clears General Cargo and deals with external agencies e.g. Ministry of Trade, ExporTT Ltd.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Five (5) O’ Level passes CXC/GCE, comprising Mathematic and English and any other three (3) subjects
- Minimum Five (5) Years’ Experience
- Customs Clerk License-minimum Grade II
- Proficiency in ASIS, CEBIS and ASCUYDA
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Knowledge of the Laws of Trinidad and Tobago with reference to Trade, and Customs Regulations
- Knowledge of IMO regulations regarding the transport of Dangerous Goods
- Good verbal and written skills.

Description
To manage activities of the security department towards protecting the Organization’s personnel, visitors, property, plant and equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promulgate Company policies in place for Access Control to all the Company facilities.
- Investigate incidents/accidents including thefts, damage or loss of Company property and prepare relevant reports, statements and recommendations.
- Investigate all incidents involving the Company’s fleet of vehicles.
- Manage access control of all Company’s vehicles.
- Contact the Police, Fire Department, medical personnel and most importantly ensure that sentry stays until properly relieved in instances of emergency.
- Manage and co-ordinate eviction exercises.
- Hold regular meetings with subordinates.
- Prepare and manage the Department’s budget.
- Train subordinate staff as required.
- Administer the Departmental Standing Orders.
- Manage staff performance.
- Visit outstations: C40, Chaguaramas Warehouse and Riverwoods Housing Development.
- Approve monthly Duty Roster.
- Recommend Leave Applications.
- Co-ordinate with the Regular Police to licence the Company’s firearms and FUEC’s annually.
- Advise on security matters and other Company business on a 24/7 basis.
- Liaise with Shift Supervisor on a 24/7 basis to ascertain the state of post and advise accordingly.
- Conduct unscheduled visits to officers on duty.
- Manage the proper parking of vehicles on the compound.
- Supervise contracted security.
- Any other duty as may be required from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Security Administration.
- Five (5) years working experience in the field, of which at least three years must be at a supervisory level.
- Police Certificate of Good Character.
- Any equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
- KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Basic knowledge of the principles of protecting property and persons and preventing, detecting and investigating irregularities such as theft and damage.
- Ability to use firearms.
- Knowledge of Supplemental Police Act.
- Physically capable of defending self and others.
- Knowledge of relevant company policies, procedures and practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess a valid driver’s permit.
- Ability to be firm, tactful and diplomatic and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others including the regular police.
- The ability to remain alert at all times.

- Patrol the assigned area thoroughly being on the alert for anything which may need special attention.
- To be familiar with the assigned area as this will assist in the early identification of unauthorized persons and objects.
- Contact the Police, Fire Department, medical personnel and most importantly keep sentry until properly relieved in instances of emergency.
- Timely reporting of all incidents/irregularities to Shift Supervisor
- Recording of reports and other related issues in station diary.
- Assist in enforcing company’s rules and regulations.
- To render assistance to employees/persons on the compound in cases of emergency.

- Control traffic and parking arrangements, arrest offenders and question suspects and witnesses where necessary.
- Perform any other security related duties as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of three (3) O’Level subjects, including English.
- Police Certificate of Good Character.
- Any equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
Special Skills and Knowledge:

Job Title: Administrative Assistant -Programme and Technical Services
Reports Head Programme and Technical Services Job Summary: The incumbent will perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the Programme and Technical Services functional area of the Waste Recycling Management Unit. Job Title: Database Administrator Department: Information Technology (I.T.) Reports To: I.T. Manager
Based At: Head Office Job Purpose: The Database Administrator shall be responsible for the installation, maintenance and, the performance of database servers. Develop processes for optimizing database security. Set and maintain database standards. Manage database access. Oversee performance tuning of database systems. Qualification and/or Experience Critical: · BSc Computer Science or a related field.

Description
The IT Security Officer: Will manage, administer and operate security solutions that support confidentiality, integrity of the various business systems and networks within the JMMB Group.
Job Purpose & Summary:
The IT Security Officer: Will manage, administer and operate security solutions that support confidentiality, integrity of the various business systems and networks within the JMMB group. Additionally, this role will identify and resolve vulnerability issues that arise in a timely manner and provide management reports to various committees/boards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recommend changes to the IT Security Management Procedures based on best practices or changes in the threat landscape.
- Draft standard operating procedures, checklists, forms, hardening standards for areas of responsibility for approval
- Develop and maintain documentation of the security architectural components under areas of responsibility
- Manage the implementation and operation security systems including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/ prevention systems, cryptography systems, application whitelisting, network access control, vulnerability scanning and antivirus/antispyware software, web content filtering etc.
- Manage the Cybersecurity Incident Response Process under areas of responsibility. Periodic testing of the cyber incident response plan through tabletop exercises with relevant business units who form a part of the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team. Review and incorporate lessons learnt for continuous improvement of the plan
- Manage access to security systems as per access procedures and standards
- Manage the vulnerability management program for areas of responsibility. This includes execution of vulnerability scanning on networks and systems to identify issues, coordination and execution of annual penetration testing exercises. Develop action plans and schedules in conjunction with relevant IT and business teams to remediate issues.
- Support the access reviews of defined business systems and applications
- Works with the Internal Audit Department on issues related to areas of responsibility
- Perform configuration audits reviews of servers and network devices and ensure compliance with applicable standards
- Manage activities with 24×7 Security Operations Center. Monitor organization’s networks for security breaches or misuse, investigate and resolve violations when one occurs
- Manage the security awareness-training program under areas of responsibility. Support JMMB’s orientation process for team members.
- Prepare and provide agreed monthly IT security performance reports and present to the relevant committees/boards
- Remain informed on trends and issues in the security industry, including current and emerging technologies. Keep current with emerging security alerts and issues.
- Supports the design, implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans, procedures, audits, and enhancements.
- Facilitate and work with contractors to whom sections of Information Technology (IT) projects/programmes have been outsourced, to ensure that the specified results are achieved.
- Provide user support both within and outside the assigned portfolio, as required to facilitate continuity of business, within the areas and levels of competence.
- Adherence to defined configuration and change management standards
- Provide guidance and support for JMMB’s Information Technology dependent projects.
- Promote the JMMB’s philosophy of the Vision of Love and its unique culture.
- Any other security related functions as required
Required Qualifications/Experience
- First Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Vendor certifications – one or more of the following: CISSP, CISM, Security+, GSEC, GISF, GCWN
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Information Technology, including system/network/security administration, preferably in a financial environment
- Minimum 2 years’ Supervisory experience
Skills
- Knowledge and experience with IT and security frameworks for example COBIT, ITIL, ISO27001
- Extensive hands-on knowledge computer security systems including firewalls, network devices, intrusion detection/ prevention systems, cryptography systems, application whitelisting, and anti-virus software.
- Familiarity with financial sector instruments, laws, regulations, ethics and professional jargon.
- Highly proficient in oral and written communication skills.

The Primary Care Nursing Manager will report to the County Medical Officer of Health and the Manager-Regional Nursing.
5. NATURE & SCOPE
The Primary Care Nursing Manager is responsible for planning, directing and supervising the public health nursing activities in the County. He/She is also required to deliver health talks on public health matters and to investigate reports on cases of infectious disease reported and to take such action as is necessary.
6. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Primary Care Nursing Manager:
- Assesses the health needs of an assigned county and plans, directs, supervises and evaluates all nursing activities in the county.
- Assigns nursing staff to clinics and community programs to maintain skill mix.
- Develops annual operational targets in collaboration with other community health staff based onidentified needs.
- Reviews nurse’s diaries, domiciliary forms/itineraries, traveling diaries and forms monthly.
- Investigates reports on infectious diseases along with surveillance team.
- Prepares reports on nursing activities for the county.
- Conducts research projects to improve service delivery in the community.
- Consults with County Medical Officer of Health, Manager-Regional Nursing, nursing staff and otherprofessionals to improve the delivery of health care in the county.
- Participates in special programs of Health Centers.
- Participates in quarterly meetings at national level to discuss nursing issues.
- Conducts orientation and training programmes for staff.
- Participates in business planning and planning activities in addition to the preparation of the budget forthe county.
- Participates in formation of policies/procedures to improve nursing care.
- Generates performance appraisals for staff.
- Conducts interviews in collaboration with Human Resource for recruitment of staff
- Participates in strategic planning for the appropriate Authority
- Performs related work as may be required by the appropriate Authority.
7. KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of General Public Health Nursing and Midwifery.
- Considerable knowledge and understanding of Public Health Ordinances related rules and regulations.
- Ability to plan, organize and direct the Public Health Nursing Services in a county or in the VenerealDisease or Thoracic Division.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with professional staff, otheremployees and the public.
8. MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Training as evidenced by the possession of a certificate in Midwifery.
- Diploma of District Health Visitor.
- Registered with the Nursing Council of Trinidad and Tobago.
- At least fifteen (15) years’ experience as a Nurse, five (5) of which must be at a senior level.
- Considerable experience in the field of District Health Visiting/Public Health Nursing.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Vice President – Commercial, the Commercial Analyst is generally accountable for providing commercial support to the Commercial Team Lead and Commercial Officer including market research and analyses.
Commercial support:
Functionally, the position will communicate frequently with the Shipping Coordinator and Shipping Assistant to ensure that the production, inventory and product delivery information is always up to date and accurate. The position provides a quality assurance function in these regards. The position also performs a quality assurance function with regards to the invoice calculations completed by the Business Analyst.
Business Development support:
The position will assist the Business Development Project Leaders in the development of projects under consideration. Typical activities will be scheduling of meetings, research, analyses and preparation of presentations and reports.
Dimensions
The Commercial and Business development functions of the company constitute a critical element in the financial sustainability of the Company which markets its products in a competitive regional and international market. The Commercial Analyst is a key professional support position to these two initiatives.
Commercial:
Key activities of the Commercial Analyst will be to conduct market analyses and generate reports for internal use as well as those required by governmental and regulatory agencies. Other key activities are to update production, inventory and sales daily to ensure the integrity of the information used to make operational decisions in the Marketing Department. The incumbent will also gather day to day data necessary for the preparation of reports relating to sales and departmental costs.
Business Development:
When required, the Commercial Analyst will be required to support key business development activities such as identification of potential business opportunities (projects that provide the optimum fit with existing assets as well as alignment with approved strategic goals), project conceptualisation and framing, economic evaluation, coordination of technical evaluations, commercial development, contract negotiations, preparation of project proposal for approvals and other activities up to hand-over of projects to a project execution team.

Nature & Scope
Commercial support:
Functionally, the position will provide market research and commercial analysis support to the Commercial Officer and Commercial Team Lead. The position will have focus on the liaison between Operations, marketing and Finance with regards to the tracking, capture and analysis of domestic sales information. The position will manage the production, inventory and sales information systems to assure integrity and availability of data. The incumbent will be called upon to act in the position of Commercial Officer as necessary.
Business Development support:
The position will assist the Business Development Project Leaders in the development of projects under consideration. Typical activities will be the scheduling of meetings, research, analyses and preparation of presentations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Communicate with internal customers and respond to their needs.
- Communicate with external customers in the absence of the Commercial Officer and Commercial Team Lead.
- Input customer cargo requirements, actual and forecast production and vessel schedules into the marketing scheduling software.
- Communicate loading/shipping schedules to internal customers.
- Advise Commercial Team Lead and Commercial Officer of actual or forecast inventories outside of the set inventory limits.
- Review invoice calculations done by Business Analyst including condensate and product transfers.
- Perform invoice calculations in the absence of the Business Analyst.
- Provide daily forward inventory forecasts to Atlantic LNG and Buyers under Atlantic LNG’s Product Sales Agreements in the absence of the Commercial Officer.
- Prepare a draft of the Commercial Department’s Quarterly Report to the Board of Directors.
- Prepare position papers, reports and presentations as required by Commercial Team Lead, VP Commercial or Business Development.
- Maintain the commercial database and all information systems.
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies – e.g. long-term product sales agreements, new products and markets, strategic alliances, etc.
- Assist in the preparation and management of the department’s annual Overhead & Operating budget, product price premium forecast and monthly and year-end inventory targets.
- Provide support to Business Development initiatives as required.
Job Specifications
Minimum Acceptable Academic Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Natural Sciences, Engineering or Finance or ACCA from a recognised tertiary institution.
AND
Minimum Number of Years of Relevant Experience
Five (5) years’ related commercial experience.
Prior experience in a hydrocarbon industry sales/commercial function and liquid fuels trading experience will be an asset.

The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC), a leading Company in the development of the country’s natural gas industry, invites applications from suitably qualified nationals to join our dynamic team of professionals to work in a challenging results-oriented environment to fill the following position:
- Port Superintendent – LABIDCO
Objectives:
Plans, coordinates, and executes the Port of Brighton (The Port) operations in a safe and cost-efficient manner in compliance with accepted standards and regulations.
The minimum requirements for the position are:
- BSc. in Engineering OR Bachelor of Applied Science in Nautical Science/Maritime Operations/Engineering
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in oil and gas operations, of which at least five (5) must be at a supervising level
- Preferred: Working exposure to Terminal and Maritime operations and Marine Watchkeeping Officer (STCW’95) Certification
- Experience in cargo movements, receipt and dispatch operations, Logistics for offshore and shore base operations,
- Experience in operating a methanol terminal will be an asset
Knowledge, Skills and Key Attributes:
Knowledge of:
- Port Operations Management, HSE Management Systems, Process Safety Management, Maintenance and Reliability Standards, Basic Concepts of Engineering, MIS, Corporate Performance and Reporting, Shipping Economics, Shipping Contracts & Maritime Law, Marine Management Systems, Supplier Management, Cost Control, Budgeting, Logistics and Supply Chain Management;

LEGAL RESEARCH OFFICER
Applications are invited from persons with suitable qualifications to fill the position of “Legal Research Officer” at our Legal department, Republic Bank Limited.
The jobholder is responsible for assisting the Managers in the Legal Services Department in the performance of their functions, including legal research, responding to branch queries, and reviewing of policies and procedures for Republic Bank Limited.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Conducting research and writing opinions on legal issues as it relates to Republic Bank Limited
- Undertaking the review of legal agreements
- Ability to review and interpret legislation and produce written opinions on the same.
- Assisting the Managers in the Legal Services Department in liaising with its internal customers, i.e. branches and specialist units
- Liaising with Republic Bank Limited’s external Attorneys-at-Law with respect to litigation matters where the Bank is a defendant
- Liaising with Republic Bank Limited’s external Attorneys-at-Law with respect to the Bank’s trademarks
GENERAL QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
The jobholder should have:
- LLB Degree/Legal Education Certificate
- 3-5 years’ experience with focus on corporate and commercial law being an asset
- In-service training as part of Legal Education Certificate
- Ability to understand legal issue and conduct legal research
- Ability to vary, amend and review legal agreements
- Microsoft Suite of Programs, Microsoft Windows XP
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Very good Research, Analytical, Decision-Making, Planning and Organizing, Information Gathering and Processing, Written and Oral Communication skills.

TEAM LEAD II – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Applications are invited from persons with suitable qualifications to fill the position of “Team Lead II- Information Technology” at our Internal Audit Department, Republic Bank Limited.
The jobholder is responsible for:
- Supporting the Information Technology Internal Audit activity throughout the Group, via the gathering and analysis of data to provide assurance to the Audit Committee and Board on the adequacy, application and effectiveness of the controls, risk management and governance arrangements in operation at the unit being audited.
- Alerting management to significant weaknesses in IT controls, trends, or new technologies that may lead or have led to material error, loss, waste, harm or other undesired result and failure to achieve desired level of performance.
- Advising management and staff on improvements in control, performance and operational efficiency.
- Coaching, training and guiding support staff in ensuring the department objectives are achieved.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning of Information System and Technology Audits/Assessments by:
- Conducting risk assessments of IT systems and business areas including emerging risks, best practice and applicable laws and regulations
- Determining audit objectives and scope
- Designing audit programs in accordance with Standards set by the IIA COBIT and the industry best practices to provide sufficient evidence to conclude on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of internal controls, compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies.
- Developing/monitoring project time budget and expenses and conducting/documenting periodic audit status meetings.
- Preparing interview questions, engagement letters and other correspondence to auditee for Management’s signature.
- Gathering and organizing relevant information methodically, validating, documenting/updating technical business process, process flows and map risks with controls.
- Conducting Information System and Technology Audits/Assessments by:
- Administering all aspects of the audit job and identifying, documenting, assessing and reporting all control weaknesses to the IT Audit Manager for review/guidance and making recommendations for improvements through the execution of:
- Investigating the degree of security and control maintained over all aspects of computer operations at computer sites in accordance with the Bank’s policies as designated by the OR Department.
- Coordinating and guiding in the execution of audit walkthroughs and team assignments.
- Using automated tools in the design and execution of audit procedures.
- Determining based on the results, if additional testing, editing or further documentation is required.
- Evaluating risks based on exceptions raised.
- Preparing TeamMate documentation with clarity, accuracy and succinctness in a timely manner
- Documenting Point Sheet exceptions to audit standards, the banks standards and relevant laws and regulation and making valid recommendations for improvements in procedures and practices based on internal standards and best practices.
- Management of team members through:
- Performing training and continuous guidance to staff auditors
- Reviewing all audit work papers for correctness, coverage and completion, providing guidance and coaching to support staff
- Completing first level review of audit work papers prepared by the Staff Auditors I and II
- Engagement Management:
- Assisting the engagement manager with ensuring quality is maintained and stakeholder expectations are managed as agreed within the engagement or project scope
- Maintain an engagement lead role in the planning, execution, reporting and remediation of assigned Audit and Project engagements.
- Providing software expertise in Computer Aided Audit Techniques (CAATs) and other auditing software, such as Audit Command Language (ACL) and Win Audit for example in the extraction and analysis of audit data.
- Providing independent, objective consulting, advisory service on procedural/policy changes and other functions such as special investigations and participating in focus group forums.
- Providing opinions to the Audit Manager and business owners on industry best practices in Information Technology, in particular the issue of Information Security.
- Executing special investigations upon, as requested by the Audit Manager, General Managers or Business Owners.
- Providing expertise in the use of the Audit Command Language (ACL) Software and other auditing software to extract relevant audit Information through the execution of the following:
- Supporting the phoenix database download from ITMD and analyzing, interrogating, extracting and compiling data.
- Writing, amending and running ACL programming scripts
- Formatting and printing ACL reports using Crystal Report Writer.
- Providing technical support for the review and maintenance of IA’s in-house applications as well as general Information Technology support as requested by IA departmental staff.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Information Technology Audit.
- First degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
- Possession of CISA, CISSP or CISM
- Thorough knowledge of IT Security and Industry best practices.
- Full understanding of IIA Code of Ethics and Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT)
- Knowledge of the relevant Financial Laws and banking regulations in all the countries in which the Bank operates.
- Full understanding of the International Standards of Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and IS Control Professional Standards
- Full understanding of RBL’s Internal Audit’s auditing procedures and the content of Internal Audit’s Auditing Standards Manual.
- Advanced knowledge in the Microsoft suite of programmes, ACL and Crystal Reports.
- Knowledge of CAAT
- Understanding of all the core banking computer systems and other stand-alone systems in operation in the Group.
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:
- Ability to assess design weakness in systems and procedures to identify risks through Flow Charting/Process mapping/Process Workflow Methodology.
- Sound Investigative, Analytical and Numerical skills.
- Excellent Interviewing and Communication skills with the ability to analyze and evaluate facts, write concise reports and exercise unbiased judgment and manage conflicts.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with auditees’ management and staff.
- Good Supervisory, coaching and team building skills.

To plan, coordinate and monitor the company’s operations in accordance with approved safety, efficiency and quality standards so that established production targets are achieved.

- A Bachelors degree in Social Sciences/Science or related field

Project Manager
Job Summary
The Project Manager prepares the annual portfolio of projects, monitors, controls and reports on project performance. The Officer works closely with Executive Management to ensure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule and acts as a liaison between the Authority, the contractors and other stakeholders throughout the lifespan of the project.
The core functions include but not limited to the following:
- Selects and prepares a portfolio of projects to enable the implementation of the Authority’s strategic and annual business plans.
- Ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
- Solicits project requirements, develops projects scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Prepares business cases, project charters and budget estimates and performs risk assessments to minimize project risks.
- Liaises with Technical Heads, Finance Personnel, Project Leads and Ministry of Health to ensure proper project management plans are developed and budgets approved
- Measures project performance, using appropriate systems for monitoring and control and submit reports of project progress to management.
- Ensures compliance with intended results, codes, regulations and requested standards.
- Prepares in-house estimates, evaluates contractor bids and submit recommendations.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project databases and documentation including reports.
- Provides project management support and technical advice to other departments throughout the Region.
- Assists in managing the interface between consultants and contractors to ensure that designs meet the needs of the South-West Regional Health Authority and its health care providers.
Required Qualifications, Training and Experience:
- A Degree in Engineering or a related degree in Construction Management
- A Project Management Certificate (PMP) or equivalent.
- At least five (5) years’ experience in an engineering or construction environment managing projects.

Description
The successful candidate would be required to provide legal services to the National Insurance Board of Trinidad and Tobago.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
- advise and provide opinions to the NIBTT on legal matters, including liability, rights and obligations thereof.
- prepare, draft or review legal documents, including but not limited to contracts, leases, conveyances, bonds, securities, bills of sale, mortgages, deeds of variation, deeds of release and other instruments
- recover contributions, penalty and interest and mortgage arrears from defaulting employers and mortgagors.
- represent the NIBTT: at the National Insurance Appeals Tribunal and/or any other Tribunal; as instructing and advocate attorney (if required) at the Industrial Court, Magistrates’ Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.
- review and advise the NIBTT on pursuing criminal proceedings against and/or on behalf of the National Insurance System.
- liaise with external Attorneys with respect to the NIBTT’s legal portfolio including the preparation of briefs to external counsel.
- research National Insurance legislation, Constitution, statutes, decisions, regulations, ordinances of quasi-judicial bodies and related topics required to inform advice and write opinions to ensure the optimum functioning of the NIBTT.
- manage the performance of immediate subordinates, providing advice on technical and administrative matters and providing training as required.
- monitor & evaluate performance of subordinate staff through implementation of Performance Management System, including the conduct of annual performance appraisals.
- ensure that Training Needs Reports are informed and submitted for approval in order to equip staff with the necessary Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Attributes required to achieve approved objectives;
- promote compliance with the NIBTT’s Corporate Policies, Procedures & Instructions related to: Human Resource Management, including Industrial Agreements; and, Health, Safety, Security and the Environment, including relevant elements of the OSH Act.
- assist with managing the equipment, operating systems and supplies, information and physical amenities necessary for the efficient and effective conduct of the Department’s business and the maintenance of a healthy and safe work environment.
- assist with the assessment of recommendations arising out of the conduct of audits and system reviews, and the implementation of approved action items where necessary;
- implement, monitor & evaluate relevant risk mitigation strategies contained in the Business Unit’s Operational Plan identified by the Executive Management Team
- co-operate with and provide assistance to Internal and External Auditors, and internal Compliance and Risk Managers with regard to access to, or provision of information, records and responses required for preparation of financial statements as well as audit and risk reports.
- assist with the provision of training on the National Insurance Act and legal subject areas.
- assist with the development of recommendations for amendments to the National Insurance Act and drafting required legislation.
- assist with the review of decisions of the National Insurance Appeals Tribunal to determine validity for Judicial Review
- assist with developing and reviewing policies, procedures and other mandates as required and when requested.
- assist with the preparation of and review departmental reports, annual budgets and departmental strategic business plans.
- participate in the management decision-making process as a member of the NIBTT’s Senior Management Team.
- represent the Legal Services Unit on Internal and External Committees as directed by the Manager Legal Services, Executive Manager Legal Services or Chief Operating Officer Corporate Services, and co-ordinate the Unit’s efforts in meeting the approved objectives of the particular committee.
- perform other related duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Law Degree (Honors) from a reputable and accredited University
- Legal Education Certificate or equivalent
- Current Practicing Certificate from the Supreme Court of Trinidad and Tobago
- LLM (Corporate and Commercial) will be an asset
- Minimum three (3) years of experience as a practicing Attorney at Law within any commonwealth jurisdiction (in civil litigation will be an asset)
- A minimum one (1) year experience in a corporate environment
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience

JOB PURPOSE:
This includes utilizing established governance, risk management, auditing and accounting frameworks/standards and a multi-disciplinary skillset in the planning and execution of comprehensive audits of the company’s numerous financial policies, expansive IT Infrastructure and other business processes.To assist TSTT and its subsidiaries in meeting its strategic objectives by providing independent and objective assurance of the effectiveness of TSTT’s Governance, Risk Management and Internal Control processes to the Board and Executive Management.KEY RESULTS:Annual Audit PlanningContribute to the development of Internal Audit’s Annual Plan by providing insights and inputs into the annual planning process based on enterprise risk assessments, knowledge of the business and past audit results; and by advising the Chief Internal Auditor, Board and Management on emerging risks and signs of deteriorating risk culture.Performing Assurance EngagementIncrease the organization’s likelihood of achieving strategic objectives by providing the Board and Executive Management with independent assurance of the effectiveness of the Company’s Governance, Risk Management and Control processes through the planning and execution of extensive and diverse Information Technology and Operational Audit Engagements across all LOBs of the Company in accordance with established international Internal Audit methodology and standards.Expand audit coverage and scope, reduce audit cost and detect anomalies and potential errors and fraud by performing continuous monitoring/auditing and data analytics on the company’s applications and thereby reviewing an increased number of business transactions.Assess the adequacy of the Company’s ERM Framework by the planning and execution of Risk Assurance engagements to ensure that key organizational risks are being effectively identified, reviewed, evaluated and appropriately managed, monitored and reported.Communicating ResultsRecommend business improvements by preparing comprehensive, value-added audit reports that highlight cost savings and revenue generating opportunities as well as areas for improved business effectiveness and efficiency.Monitor ImplementationProvide assurance to the Chief Internal Auditor, Executive Management and the Board that audit recommendations are effectively implemented by performing ongoing follow-ups with management on the status of risk assurance and audit recommendations; and by driving the implementation of recommendations and providing timely status updates to the Chief Internal Auditor, the Executive Management and the Board.Improve internal controls and the ethical culture of the organization as well as reduce opportunities for wastage, fraud and inefficiencies by planning and executing Assigned Audits, Special Requests, fraud/ whistleblower investigations in accordance with Company policy, and reporting, counselling and advising on internal control issues to the Chief Internal Auditor, the Board and Executive Management.Consulting EngagementIncrease the likelihood of achieving project/committee deliverables by providing advice to Executive Management on governance, risk and control systems necessary for the success of key organizational initiatives, projects and committees and promoting integration amongst various LOBs/departments/projects, thereby reducing organizational silos.Increase the effectiveness of key organizational policies and procedures by performing process reviews to ensure that risks are mitigated, assets are safeguarded, and business effectiveness and efficiency is improved.External Audit Direct AssistanceReducing External Audit fees by performing Audit procedures on behalf of the External Auditor in the completion of TSTT’s annual financial audit via direct external audit assistance.OtherImprove individual competency and ethical behaviour of company staff and the overall control and compliance culture by executing training and awareness sessions in the areas of Audit, Fraud, Ethics, Governance etc. and continuously promoting company ethics and good governance.Workplace Safety – validate that all related audit work is done in accordance with established safety practices and procedures.Perform such other related duties as may be assigned by the Chief Internal Auditor and/or the Senior Manager, Internal Audit from time to time.
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAININGA BSc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking or other relevant discipline.ANDCertified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and/or other relevant IT and Risk Management certification such as MCSE, CRISC, CGEIT, CISSP, CRMA etc.A minimum of five (5) years progressive and diverse work experience in the field of IT Auditing or an IT related field.Working Knowledge of:IIA’s International Professional Practices Framework Risk Management, and Control frameworks and accounting standards and practices (e.g. COSO, COSO ERM, COBIT, IAS, GAAP, ISO, NIST, ITIL etc)Internal Audit and Risk Management Software applications.Relevant company policies and Telecommunication laws and regulations.General technology concepts, systems, applications and databases.Ability to:Perform Data analytics utilizing tools such as ACL, IDEA, etc.Complete audit work utilizing Internal Audit and Risk Management Software applications.Interrogate Enterprise and Billing Applications.Proficiently utilize various software applications from the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).Work is done in a mix of office and field-based work environments. This position requires driving and travelling locally to Audit clients between Trinidad and Tobago.

Position Overview
The Web Developer will be responsible for website development and maintaining web site content, providing user support, and performing quality assurance. As a key member of the Information Technology department the person in this position will work very closely with other departments, such as Marketing and Ecommerce, as the technical liaison supporting the Ecommerce business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general assistance to the business in maintaining websites, web-based projects, and data systems.
- Investigate and analyse business requirements and recommend, implement, modify and test suitable software/web-based solutions.

- Maintain and troubleshoot any required web-based applications or add-ins.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Excellent Stores Group of Companies is looking for a highly analytical Financial Reporting and Analysis Manager. This position will be responsible for managing the day to day financial and accounting needs of the organization as well as contributing towards driving results across the organization. This role provides a progressive path to more senior strategic finance roles within the Group.
The finance, accounting and analytical nature of this role will require working on a group level and very closely with the CEO as well as other teams across the organization to provide visibility and insight into opportunities that would support the companies’ growth. Monitoring and identifying areas for increased profitability is key to this role. The position is also responsible for developing and maintaining a system of governance and manages risk within the group to prevent financial mismanagement from the breakdown of controls and processes.
The Financial Reporting and Analysis Manager is responsible for ensuring that all deadlines are met and the multitude of accounting activities including monthly financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
The main areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Financial Reporting
- Ensure the preparation of monthly financial statements for executive review as well as retail branch review.
- Provide financial and accounting advice, direction and leadership to direct reports
- Ensure that accounting and financial systems are adequately maintained, accounting records are complete and accurate.
- Oversee all intercompany reconciliations and ensure all intercompany transactions are properly accounted for.
- Review all month-end and year-end accounting procedures including preparation and entry of journal entries for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and General Ledger computer systems.
Financial Analysis and Budgeting
- Conduct monthly financial and profitability analysis of all companies and draft Management Discussion and Analysis reports for executive monitoring and decision making
- Prepare and monitor the annual budgets for each company whilst assisting in the establishment of budgets for each cost center.
- Assess opportunities for increased business performance through financial statement analysis, cost management leadership and other financial analysis tools along whilst augmenting several data sources to provide sound analysis of the company’s performance.
Treasury Management
- Bank liaison with respect to the negotiation of loans and credit facilities under the direction of the CEO.
- Working with each banking partner and financial institution for the sourcing US Dollars on an aggressive basis.
- Continually assess existing financing structures for optimal cost efficiency.
Audit
- Oversee the planning and execution of the companies’ external financial statement audits and act as the primary external audit liaison.
- Prepare for annual audits and develop supporting working papers.
- Continually assess existing processes for procedural improvements/efficiencies.
Tax Compliance and Statutory Reports
- Review the calculation of and preparation of all required tax and statutory remittances on a timely basis e.g. VAT, Payroll, NIC, Corporate taxes and associated levies.
Compliance and Controls
- Implement a system of governance and controls to mitigate risks within the organization and ensure compliance with all financial legislation, policies and procedures.
- Participate and support other regulatory audits, including the remediation of any potential audit findings.
Leadership/People Management
- Supervise day to day function of direct reports and be able to perform back up duties in case of absence or increased workload.
- Function as part of the Management team of the business, demonstrating the Company’s values and taking ownership for contributing towards the execution of the Company’s vision and strategies.
- Provide guidance and leadership to Accounting & Finance teams.
- Ensure that the Accounting & Finance teams are effectively resourced, directed, motivated and developed, enabling them to reach their full potential for both individual and company benefit.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial and human resources legislation, policies and procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge/Experience:
- Professional Accounting Designation (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CGA, CA or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial role.
- Retail and Real Estate experience preferred but not required.
- Timely financial reporting is critical to the role
- Analytical skills are critical to the role
- Solid understanding of technical accounting principles and guidelines (IFRS)
- MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
