Description
The role of the Receptionist is to attend to visitors, deal with enquiries on the phone; face to face and e-mail etc.
The role of the Receptionist is to attend to visitors, deal with enquiries on the phone; face to face and e-mail etc. In addition to supply information regarding the organisation to the general public, suppliers, internal and external customers, as well as to provide administrative support to the Customer Care Department.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Practices and promotes the Integrated Retail Group Customer Service Philosophy with passion and enthusiasm at all times.
- Answers switchboard, screens and directs calls.
- Takes and relays messages.
- Provides information to callers.
- Greets, Treats and Thanks visitors entering the Head Office location.
- Directs visitors to their correct destination.
- Deals with queries from internal and external customers.
- Ensures knowledge of Associates’ movements in and out of the compound.
- Provides general administrative and clerical support.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy and information management.
- Receives and sorts mail and deliveries.
- Ensures the reception area is tidy and organized at all times.
- Adhering to all Health, Safety, Security and Sanitation practices set by the company.
- Assists with the Data Entry of Massy Card applications/data.
- Assists with the stuffing of bar-coded Massy cards to be dispatched to stores.
- Performs other duties or provide support in any other areas as deemed necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 CXC O’Level passes including English and Mathematics;
- Demonstrates sound communication and customer service skills;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite;
- At least three (3) years experience in a similar capacity.
