      ASCO presents this opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals.

      The key purpose of a Chargehand will be to effectively and efficiently expedite all cargo for the loading and discharging of vessels and ensure cargo is inspected and compliant with relevant standards.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Manage all  resources (crane operators, forklift operators, riggers, banksman ) to ensure supply vessels are loaded and discharged in accordance with pre-agreed plans and schedules.
      • Inspect all cargo for damage, overloading, relevant documentation ,certification and compliance to ASCO standards, prior to dispatch.
      • Inspect all cargo delivered in accordance with Industry Best Practice Safe Packing and Handling of Cargo to and from Offshore Locations.
      • Check cargo against cargo DN/loadlist to ensure all cargo complies with client shipping instructions.
      • Accurately record all discrepancies,delays and non-conformances as required.
      • Ensure you are in full compliance with all Group HSEQ and Operating Procedures.
      • Lead and document Tool Box Talks with crews and operators prior to commencing operations.
      • Coordinate with client designated cargo-coordinator / dispatcher / materials coordinator on inbound / outbound cargo  & dispatch to minimise congestion on the quayside and allow for efficient vessel loading/discharging operations.
      • Ensure the receipt and dispatch of all material conforms to ASCO and client requirements for safe shipment, traceability and accountability
      • Mentor and coach inexperienced colleagues inclusive of all equipment operators, banksman, riggers and Chargehands.
      • Manage the Control of Work process as necessary, to ensure safe and secure work is performed by all Operations, Contractor and Third Party personnel at your assign location.
      • Accurate completion of all reports, statistics and other documentation as required
      • Participate and promote ASCOs LiveSafe Intervention System, carry out planned / ad-hoc site inspections and safety meetings as required by Procedures and in line with targets in Personal Safety Contract.
      • Demonstrate leadership skills with regard to raising the safety awareness of site personnel, actively encouraging reporting and investigation.
      • Ensure all PTW’s are closed out in alignent with the respective Group Operating Procedure.
      • Create lift plans in alignment with ASCO’s GLP.


      Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours)

      • Maintains positive work relationships
      • Knowledge of Best Practices within the Logitics Industry preferably related to offshore Oil & Gas support
      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

      Minimum Qualifications & Experience                                    

      • 5 CXC passes including Maths and English
      • Three (3) years experience in a similar position in the oil & gas, supply chain or logistics industries
      • Tertiary level certificate or equivalent working experience
      • Banksman/Slinger Certification
      • A valid driver’s permit

      Warehouse Attendant

      The Warehouse Attendant shall be responsible for providing efficient and effective support to the warehouse storage operations in line with safe working practices during daily activity within the stored materials and equipment inward and outward areas

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Ensure compliance with ASCO Integrated Management Systems – AIMS which encompasses ASCO’s objectives with regards to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and People: meet agreed targets and standards at all times to reduce risk and achieve the Business Plan.
      • Warehouse Attendant shall ensure that all requests for materials are received and properly actioned as per company procedures
      • Warehouse Attendant is responsible for checking that the correct amount of packages, correct material and requested documentation has been received against the delivery ticket on receipt of material or equipment and that any discrepancy is reported.
      • Warehouse Attendant is responsible for preparing packages for shipment (see separate Issues procedure) and packed for onward shipment in compliance with UKOOA Guidelines and that all relevant documentation accompanies the material. The container number, which the packages have been placed in, shall be written on the delivery ticket by the Warehouse Attendant.
      • The Warehouse Attendant shall review the Material Requests to ascertain what equipment is Company owned and what equipment requires “Third Party Call-Offs”.
      • The Warehouse Attendant is responsible to raise a Call-Offs and transmit the Call-Offs to the relevant service company by e-mail or fax, whichever is available. The information on the Call-Off shall include Material descriptions, quantities, delivery instructions and Call-Off number of rig.
      • The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for ensuring that the original hard copy of the Materials Receipt Docket (MRD) is passed to the relevant supply company.
      • Ensure all material stored in the Warehouse and external storage areas is done so in compliance with Operating Procedures.

      • The Warehouse Attendant shall ensure that all received material is discharged from Supplier vehicles in a safe manner.

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Demonstrated experience in Stores/Warehousing and Inventory control.
      • Previous clerical experience.

      Inventory Coordinator

      The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the accurate account, control and storage location for all Inventory stored at the client approved sites.  Identifying Inventory and Report findings to relevant stakeholders to optimize inventory holdings.  Regular Stock Checks and Reports in accordance with client Inventory Policy and Business Controls.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Perform Receipt transaction for incoming materials to Pipeyard and resolve discrepancies re paperwork; generate and provide receipt reports as required.
      • Doing assurance checks by way of cycle counts in inventory with support from pipe yard team.
      • Support vendor managed inventory checks.
      • Prepare MMR form with Well engineers for all issues and perform timely issue transactions.
      • Properly track and account for materials issued to fabrication shops and its return, with appropriate costing.
      • Perform return transactions and reconcile differences where necessary.
      • Prepare and issue monthly inventory reports or as required by the Client.
      • Support inventory cost reporting and reconciliation with Finance.
      • Monitor, identify and ensure zero grey build at pipe yard.
      • Maintain and archive all delivery notes and receipt/issue transaction forms and materials test reports other preservation inspection reports in share point.
      • Use all required systems and tools (MAXIMO, SAP (receipts, issuance, transfers, preservation etc.)) to facilitate tasks in a timely manner.
      • Facilitate inventory cycle counts and annual stock counts.
      • Responsible for administration and maintenance of system and database management.
      • Support materials masters initiatives through submission of Cataloguing forms for system uploads
      • Ensure all Materials are stored, condition packaged and handled in accordance with clients Inventory Holding Policy.
      • Run forecasting and analysis of known demand
      • Optimise Inventory by reviewing and identifying dormant, excess & obsolete material,
      • Support turnarounds, pit stops, unplanned shutdowns & outages
      • Business liaison on inventory level and stocking strategy, including review of non-stock surplus
      • Coordinate with the business stakeholders to ensure the follow through of the surplus disposal process
      • Record final numbers and execute any required investigations.
      • Provide MM input in the work scheduling and planning process to ensure more aligned work prioritization and realistic materials availability expectation from the business.
      • Proactive demand management and demand challenge to the end users. Suggest alternative materials/ re-use
      • Investigate variations between planned and actuals material deliveries in order to determine the corrective measures needed to improve accuracy and make necessary updates (e.g. Lead Times) in SAP

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Tertiary Level qualification in Inventory Management or applicable field
      • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in the oil & gas, supply chain or logistics industries
      • Experience in operations and establishment of warehouse and Pipeyard facilities
      • Extensive knowledge of Inventory and Materials Management practices, systems and software.
