      SALES REPRESENTATIVE (3 month contract)


      PURPOSE OF JOB

      The Sales Representative is responsible for selling Unipet’s new products using solid presentations to prospective customers in an attempt to achieve sales target. This sales rep would also be tasked with establishing positive business relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.

      MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

      • Schedule meetings, presentations, training and on-boarding of new product line
      • Deliver presentations on company products
      • Track all sales activities in excel report template
      • Communicate customer and product issues to appropriate departments if required
      • Maintain and manage their assigned territory/prospect list ensuring all prospects have received an offer for the new product.
      • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort

      ACADEMIC/ PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

      •  1-2 years of sales experience
      • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
      • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
      • Excellent interpersonal skills
      • Highly self-motivated
      • Good verbal and written communication skills
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office with good presentation skills
      • Must have access to a working vehicle to be used daily to visit prospects

      DEVELOPER OF OPERATIONS ENGINEER

      PURPOSE OF JOB

      The Developer of Operations (DevOps) Engineer is responsible for maintaining the designs, development, testing, deployment and first level support of bespoke software solutions and its environment for Unipet and its subsidiaries. The incumbent will be involved in corrective and preventive maintenance and customization work as well as oversee software contractors as required in addition to leading the development, installation and maintenance of hardware/software solutions.

      MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

      • To analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.
      • To research, design, implement and manage software programming code.
      • To provide technical guidance and educate team members on infrastructure and software development and operations.
      • To develop and maintain up to date documentation/policies/procedures to guide the management and maintenance of technology infrastructure and software solutions.
      • To lead the implementation of emerging technologies through research and business case development.
      • To work alongside project management teams and contractors to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives.

      MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Provide detailed specifications for proposed hardware and software solutions including materials, manpower and time necessary.
      • Establish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate their collaboration.
      • Train team members and other coworkers and seek to continually improve processes throughout the company.
      • Develop and apply practical demonstrations of proposed solutions to team members.
      • Build and test automation tools for technology infrastructure provisioning.
      • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
      • Handle code deployments in all environments.
      • Identify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently develop these modifications.
      • Write and implement efficient code across different software applications.
      • Develop software to integrate with back-end systems and other software.
      • Perform root cause analysis for software production errors.
      • Investigate and resolve technical issues.
      • Document tutorials, processes and procedures for system usage, troubleshooting and maintenance as well as for knowledge transfer.
      • Manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) tools with team.
      • Lead the successful delivery of new hardware technologies from concept to implementation.
      • Work cooperatively with project teams/contractors to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently.
      • Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives.
      • Consult with peers for feedback during software testing stages.
      • Attend training sessions and team meetings on new products, installation methodology, maintenance and reporting.
      • Provide support to the Business Transformation Programme Manager to effectively and efficiently complete projects.

      HSE RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Comply with and support the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and programmes and any other applicable legislation and standards.
      • Recognise and understand the health and safety risk associated with assigned job tasks.
      • Perform all duties in a manner that promotes good health and hygiene, no harm to the environment, and no injury to self or risk to others.
      • Stop work if any work-related safety incident is imminent or occurs, in a manner compliant with Company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
      • Wear and maintain PPE as required and in the manner prescribed.
      • Attend HSE training as required by the Company.
      • Report all HSE related incidents according to Company procedures and assist in incident investigations, as necessary.
      • Comply with scheduled or random drug and alcohol testing according to Company’s policy.

      OTHER

      • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
      • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, in keeping with the Company’s policies.
      • Maintain proper personal hygiene and professional grooming and appearance, within the dress code and PPE requirements, as stated in the Company’s policies.
      • Attend training as required by the company.
      • Ability to work some nights and weekends and “on call” as required.
      • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned from time to time.

      ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

      • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
      • Working knowledge in Database Development including SQL.
      • Good knowledge of programming languages including Ruby, Java, Javascript, Python
      • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity and in a 24/7-hour high pace operation business.
      • Familiar with Microsoft Azure and other cloud hosting environments
      • Experience in an Agile software development environment.
      • Experience in both Windows and Linux operating system environments.
      • Experience in business intelligence and reporting/visualization tools such as PowerBi, Tableau

      PURPOSE OF JOB

      The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Support Technician plays a vital role in supporting the day to day operations of Unipet. The incumbent supports information technology (IT) savvy employees and assist non-IT users who are having network, equipment or application problems. Additionally, the ICT Support Technician would be self-motivated, dependable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining 100% total client focus.

      MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

      • To install and configure computer hardware, software, networks, printers and scanners.
      • To monitor, troubleshoot and maintain computer systems and networks infrastructure.
      • To maintain company’s SharePoint online sites, permissions, groups, lists and data.
      • To manage ICT asset inventory, keep track of asset movement and update Finance department of new asset arrival and disposal.
      • To support the day-to-day ICT functions, by being a first level responder to employee point of sale, network, equipment and application

      MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Troubleshoot system and network problems including but not limited to SharePoint environment, Point of Sale system, server-client issues and hardware/software faults.
      • Manage active directory, by creating and deactivating users, ensuring full user details are captured.
      • Manage Unipet’s access control system, by assigning and deactivating access cards, making updates to user locations, and door groups.
      • Provide user management functions in company applications and systems, inclusive of CCTV.
      • Manage Office365 by monitoring available licenses, adding and removing users, creating groups and assigning users.
      • Monitor, maintain and test company’s backup systems.
      • Handle client support requests/calls in a timely and efficient as well as accurate manner.
      • Understand and support problems, analyse problem data and determine appropriate solutions.
      • Support the roll-out of new applications.
      • Research and test new technology which would add new services or improve processes within the company.
      • Conduct staff training session on new software and hardware, and refresher training for existing software and hardware.
      • Interact with third party service providers where required to resolve issues.
      • Provide support to the ICET Team Leader to effectively and efficiently complete projects.

      • Knowledge of Windows 2012 R2 servers, and services DHCP, DNS, SSO, GPO
      • Knowledge of SharePoint Online and Office365 platform.
      • Knowledge of CCTV systems installation and configuration
