Ashook and Felesha Parboo pose for a photo at their Hindu wedding ceremony after they were given Aashirvad which means blessings from the family. The guests showered the newlyweds with flowers and rice to wish the couple a long happy marriage. In photo at right, the couple is at their wedding reception. This is a huge formal party with lots of music to celebrate the successful wedding. This is the first public appearance of the bride and groom together as a couple. There are no formal traditions at the reception.
