HEAD SECURITY SERVICES (ON CONTRACT)
In keeping with our commitment to be the leader in water and wastewater services within the Caribbean, we are seeking a dedicated individual to manage the day to day activities of the Security function to ensure that the Authority’s assets, people and visitors are secured and protected. This is an opportunity to become a member of a dynamic Management team that is committed to maintaining a safe and secure working environment to support the delivery of Water and Wastewater Services to the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago.

HEAD SECURITY SERVICES (ON CONTRACT)
The Authority is seeking an individual who has extensive knowledge and experience in Security Management and who can manage all ranks within the Authority’s Security Workforce. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Security Services functional area to ensure the availability and optimal deployment of security forces required to successfully safeguard the Authority’s premises. He/She will also be responsible for initiating the necessary actions to ensure adherence to Security policies and practices by the Security forces, employees and visitors to the Authority’s compound.
The successful candidate will also be required to implement adequate surveillance systems, provide advice on Security matters, conduct investigations as well as support the implementation of cohesive strategies, policies, plans and best practices to mitigate and eliminate any security risk exposure within the organization.
He/She will be required to provide technical support and expert advice on security matters, and monitor adherence to security policies, protocols or procedures. The incumbent will also be responsible for implementing strategies to maintain adequate security coverage at the Authority’s facilities and offices.
THE SUCCESSFUL INDIVIDUAL SHOULD POSSESS :
• Knowledge of the Supplemental Police Act, Summary Offences Act and Firearms Act and be able to implement and apply the provisions of the act where required.
• Knowledge of Court Procedures
• Knowledge of Security Procedures and Protocols and Security Management.
• Knowledge of Emergency Response Procedures.
• Knowledge of Conducting Security Investigations
• Knowledge of Contracts Administration and Management.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
An attractive and competitive remuneration package will be provided.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
BSc. Security Management/Administration from an accredited institution.
Eight (8) years’ experience at a Senior Supervisory level in the Security Field and attainment of the rank of Assistant Superintendent in the Police Service or equivalent experience.
Ability to command and control a Security force.
