North Coast Jazz & Heritage Festival 2022

North Coast Jazz & Heritage Festival comes alive May 27-29, 2022

With a cast of top acts, which feature music of the old and new, young and old, the North Coast Jazz & Heritage Festival is dedicated to the music of Lord Nelson and is aptly themed ‘FAMILY’. The NCJ and HF returns post Covid-19 to offer its family of patrons a feel-good experience from May 27 to 29, 2022.

The festival, now in its Fourth Edition has taken up where it left off in 2019 before the pandemic. The organising team continued to meet and plan for the last weekend in May 2022, which has become the North Coast Jazz & Heritage Festival’s calendar dates.

Weekend plans for North Coast Jazz & Heritage Festival

The festival begins with its Friday Night “the Feature Film Friday”. This is followed by its strong Family Saturday magic. Also, for the first time introduces – Blue Sunday – which begins at 2:00 am on Sunday, May 29, 2022 featuring the best of our notorious DJ’s matched only by the magic of HADCO’s Phase II.

Speaking on this innovation, festival director John Gill said, “We have been requested and we have responded. Blue Sunday is going to be our J’ouvert in May, complete with paint and powder matched only with the music of artiste born here and played here. Further we are going to bring the powder mystery and magic of the Pan with the Phase and others to the festival grounds.”

Hacienda Jacana

Hacienda Jacana is a peaceful country haven. Slip into the serene setting of a private country paradise, discretely set in 22 acres on the edge of the tropical rain forest at the centre of Trinidad. Relax or BBQ poolside, walk the grounds, bird watch, read a book in a hammock under the trees, fish or canoe in the lake. There are 4 cottages, each with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. You can rent just 1 cottage with either 1 or 2 bedrooms; or all 4 cottages.
