The Marketing Content Creator is a highly motivated and results driven marketing team member who supports the Marketing Department in the development, creation and implementation of digital and physical marketing content across various platforms and media.

A.     JOB FUNCTION

The Marketing Content Creator is a highly motivated and results driven marketing team member who supports the Marketing Department in the development, creation and implementation of digital and physical marketing content across various platforms and media.

The company maintains a focus on achieving and maintaining the highest levels of service to both its internal and external customers and towards achieving its performance objectives. All activities must therefore conform to the customer service and sales standards set by the company and with all legal and statutory requirements.

B.     KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Curate, research, design and develop artwork work for in-store, website, email, social media, digital screens and all other advertising platforms.
2. Provides graphic support with fabric print and packaging development.
3. Liaise with internal and external parties in order to produce creative material for marketing initiatives.
4. Develop and maintain content for social media platforms.
5. Write creative briefs, radio advertising scripts, public relations releases and print ad copy.
6. Assist with the monitoring of marketing output both online and offline, ensuing we maintain our unique brand voice.
7. Research and create mood board and storyboards as part of the design exploration process.
8. Provide assistance at photoshoots.
9. Provides support for marketing department presentations to company executives and other department heads.
10. Provide general assistance to the Marketing Manager and other team members as may be required by the function, in a professional and efficient manner.
11. Remain knowledgeable about emerging standards and trends.
12. Maintain proper files and catalogues of company advertising
13. Execute any other related duties as may be assigned by the Marketing Manager.

C.     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia/Visual Communications, Video Production, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design or related field.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in content creation and/or related communications field.
• At least one (1) year experience engaging audiences through effective management of social media channels for an established well-known brand.
• High level of proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator required.
• Experience with content management systems, graphics software, still and video cameras, video/audio/podcasting/image editing a plus.

D.    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Strong visual storyteller
• Highly creative individual with vision, and hands-on video and multiple media production skills.
• Proficient with the technical aspects of producing digital media content, including photography, film, graphic design, audio-visuals and social media.
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications: Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Outstanding creative writing and editing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Familiar with social media channels and audiences.
• Basic understanding of marketing concepts and principles.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Positive disposition with an ability to work well with others, to share ideas, participate in team meetings and take or give constructive criticism.
• Detail oriented and well-organised.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A good understanding of fashion trends and fashion branding.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Excellent customer service orientation.

E.      SALARY & BENEFITS

• $6,000.00 Base salary.
