Cleans guest bedrooms following company quality standards. Provides professional and timely service to all guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean guest rooms according to the company’s quality and standards.
• Report any maintenance deficiencies to the Housekeeper in charge.
• Respond to any guest requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies in a timely and courteous manner.
• Clean public areas; offices, corridors, staff rooms, apartments, staircase and toilets as assigned.
• Clean side room and trolleys upon completion of shift. Record linen stock before and after shift.
• Ensure that trolleys are adequately stocked during the day and are stored safely when not in use.
• Follow proper chemical handling procedures when using cleaning agents.
• Report any Health and Safety concerns or issues.
• Communicate any Health and Safety complaints, hazards or work-related illness or injury to a supervisor.
• Assist in training new Room Attendants according to established standards and procedures.
• Comply with company’s policies and procedures as outlined in the company Handbook and Department’s Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisors / Executive Housekeeper including laundry duties.
• Perform any other related duties as required

Working Conditions:

• Stands during entire shift.
• Reaches, bend, stoops, lifts, carries, and pushes.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications

• At least five (5) O’ Level passes including Math and English Language
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to meet the physical demands required of this position, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling etc
• Ability to work shift, nights, weekends and public holidays and adapt to unexpected changes in schedule
