To participate in the design and review of asset integrity engineering solutions and initiatives to optimize core operational processes and realize new engineering opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implements and executes plans based on Asset Integrity Strategies for major equipment categories.
• Coordinates with inspection teams to ensure conformance to plans and performs relevant audit functions in line with applicable engineering standards and codes e.g. API, ASME, NFPA etc., thereby assuring that inspections are executed in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Performs review of data and detailed engineering analysis on inspection, maintenance and design data to make relevant engineering recommendations in line with asset integrity best practices.
• Develops and implements asset integrity projects and maintenance orders basis engineering analysis and recommendations.
• Applies Reliability Centred Maintenance support to the relevant Operations and Maintenance Teams.
• Develops and implements engineering schedules and work plans inclusive of specifications, drawings and operating instructions for equipment.
• Develops all relevant Supply Chain Documents and performs relevant internal and external stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborates with the Supply Chain Team to conduct Invitation to Bid/Tendering inclusive of issue, pre-bid meetings, site visits, clarifications, evaluations, recommendations and preparation of approval documentation where relevant.
• Manages contractors in line with the relevant engagement instrument e.g. Purchase Order/Outline Agreement to ensure job/project milestones are met, as well as coordinate relevant documentation and approval processes for managing payments.
• Provides detailed engineering design in support of capital projects:
  • Supports capital projects with engineering studies, planning, cost development, equipment specification, scheduling, contractor review, commissioning and start-up.
• Provides engineering reports and technical reviews.
• Maintains engineering standards, specifications, best practices and other key engineering data.
• Provides input on Fitness of service recommendations.
• Conducts Defect Elimination (Root Cause Analysis) and Bad Actor analysis as required.
• Provides continuous monitoring, review, troubleshooting and optimization of operational processes.
• Executes feasibility studies to increase system outputs and mechanical and asset integrity optimization recommendations.
• Provides assurance on compliance with Asset Management Systems and Procedures.
