Job Description:

You will be involved in some of our current projects and operations, and deliver tangible results using the latest technology, whilst learning about the oil and gas industry and the challenges we face every day.

As a Mechanical Engineer Intern at bpTT, you will:

• Demonstrate strong HSE focus and commitment.
• Participate in Hazard/Risk Analysis for facility modifications.
• Provide Mechanical engineering guidance and support.
• Provide Mechanical Support on sites onshore and offshore.
• Interface with the Operations team to support the continued operability, optimization, maintainability and reliability of operating processes and systems.
• Support the preparation of Mechanical system modification design packages.
• Provide support for information management systems.

Taking on the role as a Mechanical Engineer Intern in Production & Operations means being able to continuously execute and improve your performance. Alongside a strong degree in a technical field, such as engineering or a closely related degree, which means having a passion for problem-solving, a sharp eye for detail, and the desire to work with a diverse team.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a citizen or legal resident of Trinidad and Tobago or CARICOM national
• Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline
• Currently in your penultimate year of study (pre-final year) with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Skillful in the use of MS Office software (Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
