The Quality/Regulatory Officer provides JMMB Express with an overview of the operation’s quality. This entails periodic reviews of the critical functions of JMMB Express Finance.

Job Purpose & Summary:

 The Quality/Regulatory Officer provides JMMB Express with an overview of the operation’s quality. This entails periodic reviews of the critical functions of JEF. These reviews are designed to ensure policies and procedures adherence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Credit – Review a sample of loans to determine accuracy of the credit policy used by the credit officer. Validation of calculations of the DSR and disposable income. Verify correctness of the KYC information. Create an error dashboard for each credit officer.
• Branches – Review branch postings daily basis to ensure accurate reconciliation. Identify errors and remedial action. Create an error dashboard for each branch. In branch payment reconciliation
• Processing: Review a sample of transaction postings of cheques, direct debits and payment vendors. Additionally, review of sample of disbursement transactions per week. This is to ensure accurate posting and correct reconciliation.
• Collection: Sample of collection account to ensure timely and accurate follow up. Frequency of reviews can vary between weekly and fortnightly. This review evaluates average time spend on an account and quality of follow-ups, ensuring the mandatory KYC information is documented.  Create and document a deviation dashboard per collector.
• Periodic reviews of JEFs operational procedures. Recommend updates accordingly. Liaise with JMMB legal/compliance and CBTT to ensure regulatory requirement are met.
• Turnkey lender administrator, whose role is to lock duplicate accounts and amend KYC information when necessary
• Analyse and provide reporting to department heads, CEO, CM: LOS and/or COO.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum
• A first Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or relevant field; and
• FIBA/ACAMS AML qualifications
• 5 years’ progressive working experience within the Banking/Finance Sector
• Experience within the field of anti-money laundering, operations, quality assurance/compliance or internal audit would be an asset.
• An appropriate combination of qualifications & experience will be considered.

The Talent Management Officer is responsible for supporting the execution of the end-to-end process of the employment life cycle of team members

Job Purpose & Summary:

The Talent Management Officer is responsible for supporting the execution of the end-to-end process of the employment life cycle of team members. This includes supporting the execution of Recruitment and Selection and other Manpower Processes. The Officer also plays a critical role in ensuring adherence to the New Hire Checklist, assigned KYE responsibilities and maintaining the unit’s administrative databases as assigned. Additionally, the incumbent supports the execution of countrywide engagement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the end-to-end coordination of the recruitment and selection process for entry to Senior Management roles. Which includes but is not limited to disseminating pre-interview assessments and documents, coordinating and scheduling interviews, shortlisting, reviewing application forms and preparing compensation assessment, preparing employment contracts, making offer to successful candidates and maintaining communication with all involved parties inclusive of advising the unsuccessful candidate. All aimed to ensuring the best Talents are selected via a seamless and effective process.
• Coordinate and execute creative and innovative engagement initiatives and activities that promotes the building of genuine, high trust relationships and cohesive teams, in alignment with the culture and engagement calendar. Partnering with the T&D Specialist to ensure synergy between culture and engagement activities.
• Facilitates the on-boarding of a team member as the first point of contact, ensuring a seamless transition into JMMB adhering to guiding policies and audit requirements. This includes the preparation of new hire packages, ensuring compliance with new team member checklist and CBTT Personal Questionnaire Declaration (PQD) for officers within accordance with the unit’s SLAs. This also includes timely sharing of information with Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist and other stakeholders.
• Creation of new team member files, filing, follow-ups for letters and outstanding documents and ensure strict adherence to KYE onboarding requirements.
• Performs daily administrative duties pertaining to the Unit that includes, but is not limited to, the preparation of employment contracts; promotion letters; reassignment letters; and all other letters of advice to TMs based on Manpower changes and performance or new hires.
• Prepares, disseminates and monitors internal and external recruitment ads, as well as drafting ads to be shared on JMMB’s Marketing Platforms and shortlisting suitable applicants for entry to Senior Management roles to support the identification of the right fit for the right roles and culture fit.
• Supports the Manager by providing administrative support during audits, tracking of people movement and performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management Studies or related field
• Professional Certification in Human Resources will be an asset
• Basic Working Knowledge of Industrial Relations practices
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Human Resource’s role
• Experience in the Financial or Banking sector would be an asset
