Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) invites suitably qualified persons to apply for the following contract position:
Job Purpose: The Help Desk Support will serve as the initial point of contact for technical assistance to end-users, effectively addressing and resolving ICT issues through comprehensive troubleshooting and efficient ticketing management. The role entails escalating intricate ICT problems to appropriate technical teams, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base, and producing detailed reports on ICT service performance to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality support.
Qualifications, Certifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Associate Degree from a recognized institution in IT / Computing or Computer Science
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 1 year) in delivering Tier 1 Technical support
- Knowledge of first level server/back-office support (O365, Active Directory, File/Server shares)
- Experience (minimum 1 year) in VMWare enterprise environment
- Experience using ticketing systems or helpdesk software
- Microsoft MCSE or similar certification
- Have knowledge of Cisco Networking environment or pursuing certifications

Job Purpose: The Desktop Application Support role is constructed to assist the ICT department in executing a variety of activities across the organisation. The primary responsibility of the incumbent is to provide efficient technical support, troubleshooting, timely reporting and maintenance services. This includes resolving software issues and offering general ICT support to business users, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operation of desktop applications and systems. The role is instrumental in maintaining user satisfaction and operational efficiency by addressing and resolving technical challenges promptly and effectively.
Qualifications, Certifications and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 3 years) in delivering ICT infrastructure and application support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- Knowledge of first level server/back-office support (O365, Active Directory, File/Server shares)
- Experience (minimum 2 years) in VMWare enterprise environment
- Microsoft MCSE or similar certification
- Experience with Power BI (or similar tool), SharePoint and Microsoft SQL Database

Job Purpose: The Project Technician will be responsible for verification and staging of outage parts, contractor equipment mobilisation, in some cases act as the job supervisor for certain jobs being executed by accepting the PTWs, arrange certification and testing of specialised tools and equipment and creating purchase requisitions for contracted services. On a regular basis the Project Technician will be utilised to provide technical field support for plant related projects and technical evaluations.
Qualifications, Certifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a technical role related to project support, field operations, or maintenance.

Job Purpose: The Auditor I position will support the Internal Auditor in providing objective and
systemic reviews of the company’s financial and non-financial management systems and internal controls. The incumbent will support the audit function and assist with performing internal audits of selected contracts and agreements as well as support with investigating incidents of fraud and non-conformance.
Qualifications, Certifications and Experience
- A Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, ICT, Engineering or a related field from a recognised university.
- Professional Certification such as the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).
- Experience in an environment with international financial debt instruments and a clear understanding of the energy/power industry would be an asset.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the field of Auditing.
