By Jevan Soyer. For the past few months, I had the opportunity to try out the moto g4 plus. It was a refreshing surprise. For the price I was not expecting much. I just needed a phone to keep in touch with the office and take the occasional picture when on location.
Since using the phone, the battery never died on me. Even when I forgot to charge it at night, as I usually do, it just kept on going. I got a solid 2 1/2 days worth of use, posting to social networks, browsing Facebook, making calls and checking emails.
The moto g4 plus is equipped with a 5 1/2 inch display that renders in full 1080p and YouTube videos look amazing. The loud speaker also sits at the same location as the telephone speaker. When you are watching videos the sound comes directly to you, and not from behind or from the bottom of the phone. The camera, I must say, was the biggest surprise. I was able to capture amazing photos and videos. It also is capable of recording in slow motion, to catch those high intense moments.
Moto g4 plus finger print scanner
Surprisingly, there is a finger print scanner where the home button would usually be located. This may take some getting used to but it works well every single time. moto g4 plus also allows individual users to be assigned their own profile and stores 5 fingerprints per user.
This phone comes with absolutely no manufacturer bloatware. As a matter of fact, I had to install my own file manager from the Play Store. Actually, this is a good thing as I only have what I need on the phone. The experience is the closest I can get to owning a Nexus or Google phone, a raw version of android. It multitasks very well and is very fast. By and large, I got a phone that out performs some others that cost 3 times the price. Also, it is a very attractive phone to look at.
Moto G4 Plus not compromised by Gooligan
Recently, over 1 million Google accounts became compromised by a malware named Gooligan. Fortunately, the Moto G4 Plus does not fall within this group of devices since it comes with Android 6 Marshmallow with an expected update to Android 7 Nougat in the near future.
The Moto G4 Plus comes in 2 versions 2GB RAM/16 GB Internal and 4GB RAM/ 64 GB Internal. There is also a model without the fingerprint sensor – Motorola G4 2 GB RAM/16 GB / 32 GB Internal. The specs otherwise are identical and comes at a cheaper price.
If you are thinking of upgrading or looking to buy a phone for a loved one this Christmas, I do believe that the Motorola G4 Plus is a good bet.
The reason why I guarantee that the Moto G4 Plus is the best phone of 2016 is the great features that you get for the price. You get a pure Android experience that you would only be able to experience on a Nexus device. I do believe that the average person would love the performance and reliability of this device and most importantly the price.

i have the Moto G4 Plus and a Moto G4 Play. both great phones. when i tell people how much i paid for the G4 Plus they get so bitter cause they paid so much for a phone that isn’t much better. even my $125 G4 Play surprise people all the time. runs any game i throw at it. GTA and NBA2K17. yesterday a lady at Wawa holding an iPhone asks me what kind of phone i was holding. i looked at her in confusion. i said this is a cheap $125 phone and she played with my phone for 3 minutes. i hurt my neck making sure she wasn’t doing something to my phone. anyway the Moto G4 Plus is best phone of the year. maybe the next 2 years.
