HR Business Partner – Business Intelligence and Analytics – Job ID# 13602
OBJECTIVE
The HR Business Partner, Business Intelligence and Analytics:
- This role will serve as an active partner with HR and functional leaders to perform research and analyses on a broad spectrum of people issues, especially around guidelines pertaining to remote work. Examples include studying the relationship between remote work on critical outcomes such as employee performance, growth, engagement, diversity, and retention.
- Engages leaders within HR and across the organization to drive and execute data analytics initiatives that promote strategic human capital management.
- Identifies and uncovers opportunities based on compensation analytics, key talent gap analyses, employee proficiency and performance levels, and training and development analytics; to support operational and strategic data-driven decisions resulting in effective rewards, development opportunities and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborates with human resource and business unit leaders to understand their business needs, identify strategic and operational objectives and recommend solutions to support data-driven workforce decision-making.
- Partners with human resources and business unit leaders to investigate ways to measure and visualize existing processes for internal efficiency analysis and stakeholder communication.
- Collates functional requirements, maintains documentation, and develops project plans and status reports for managing analytics and projects that guide the development of human resources activities and services.
- Designs and develops dashboards, reports, presentations and visual aids designed to educate, inform and influence the decisions of HR customers and Line supervisors.
- Conducts complex analysis of NGCâs HR business data and processes with emphasis on identifying trends, determining root causes of problems and providing suggested solutions to drive effective business decisions.
- Builds a foundation of analytical capabilities within the HR function by coordinating the design, development and implementation of analytical tools, technology and business solutions that improve HRâs operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Applies expertise in data analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support, and execute our talent decisions.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders while balancing impact on business needs.
- Provides workforce/talent analytics to enable informed decision making based on hardcore data that aids in predicting retention and offers extensive modelling capabilities for workforce planning. Categorizes and prioritizes action plans that address potential talent shortages and / or overages.
- Integrates workforce and financial data to align talent investments with company results, develops data-driven insights to predict business turnover, reduce new hire failure rates, and manage persistent poor performers
- Forecasts impending workforce management problems, identifies opportunities and recommends strategies and initiatives to effectively address same.
- Applies HR data and analytics in the transformation and streamlining of processes to obtain greater efficiency of the management of the organisationâs talent.
- Analyses data and develops productivity reports to assess individual and organisation performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Prepares and submits human resource efficiency reports for all functions within the human resources department and makes recommendations for improvement.
- Conducts cost benefit analyses across all human resource functions and prescribes solutions to ensure investments in talent yield the most optimum outcomes.
- Uses data analysis to identify and manage people and talent risk across the organisation and makes recommendations for alleviation of risk.
- Executes any other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The minimum requirements for the position are:
- Bachelorâs degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or other relevant degree
- MSc in Human Resource Management or another relevant MSc
- Recognised Diploma in Statistics and / or Big Data Analytics
- At least (5) yearsâ experience in human resources management, consulting or corporate work experience focused on using data to uncover insights that drive action, at least (2) two yearsâ experience working in data mining, visualization and big data analytics, management consulting, sales operations, finance, compensation, or related areas.
- Experience engaging directly with enterprise-level clients and stakeholders
- Experience working with HR/organizational people data (e.g., headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics)
- Experience in HR analytics using HR systems and tools such as HRIS, Salesforce etc.
- Experience building dashboards using advanced Power BI functionality
- Experience in HR project management, working on projects that impact the employee lifecycle

Senior Auditor – Financial Operations and Reporting – Job ID# 13621
OBJECTIVE
The Senior Auditor â Financial Operations and Reporting:
- Engages in effective monitoring and compliance of financial management recommendation and updates for relevant departments and divisions across the Group.
- Provides reasonable assurance that financial management, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, governance and financial risk management are effective, efficient, and achieving objectives within best practices.
- Provides support in improving departmental/divisional operations and image by recommending cost effective solutions to identified deficiencies and non-conformities.
FUNCTIONS
- Conducts investigations of risk materialisations and control breakdowns and prepares formal written reports on investigation audits.
- Conducts performance, financial and compliance audits of NGC and its affiliated companies.
- Evaluates systems and controls, assesses financial risk, and the adequacy of system design to mitigate risks, including loss of life image.
- Appraises the standards of financial operations and management systems; and makes recommendations on the appropriateness of systems to ensure quality, compliance and achievement of objectives.
- Identifies and analyses causes of unprofitable and inefficient practices in process and work methods; assesses alternatives that may yield the desired results and recommends cost-effective solutions.
- Identifies and evaluates departmental/divisional risk areas and provides financial operations and reporting input to the development of the annual audit plan.
- Monitors the performance of audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analysing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.
- Supports Audit staff in the identification, development and documentation of audit issues and recommendations, schedules and assigns work to meet approved project deliverables in accordance with timelines and cost.
- Prepares and submits audit project plans, work programs, audit reports, for approval ensuring quality, completeness, and alignment with the Division’s annual plan, auditing procedures and standards for professional practices of Internal Audit.
- Prepares formal written reports and presentations, expressing opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of systems and activities. Recommends corrective action to improve operations and reduce costs; submits reports and delivers presentations to relevant audiences.
- Monitors and reviews action taken by management in the implementation of Audit recommendations and reports on same.
- Develops and maintains productive relationship with internal and external stakeholders through collaboration and group meetings.
- Audits current controls and performance monitoring elements to assess effectiveness of company financial operations and reporting mechanisms and collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop, implement, monitor and manage the company’s compliance with internal control requirements.
- Interacts with various levels of management and staff in conducting interviews and testing internal process to assure continued compliance.
- Assists in the oversight of the management and maintenance of the policies and procedures for Risk Testing, Fraud Prevention, and Internal Controls.
- Identifies process improvements that lead to cost savings or revenue enhancement opportunities.
- Ensures that all information of confidential nature is held in a secure and confidential method.
- Ensure that all audit records and documentation are accurate and in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Executes any other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The minimum requirements for the position are:
- BSc in Finance, Accounting, or ACCA Level III
- Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information System Auditor, or Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner
- Five (5) yearsâ professional level experience in an Internal Audit Department
- Relevant experience in the oil and gas industry

OBJECTIVE
The Senior Auditor â Corporate Governance and Compliance:
- Monitors adherence to governance and compliance standards through a framework of auditing that ensures quality in the NGC products and service delivery.
- Executes a range of quality governance activities, included in the Group’s audit plan; compliance to oil and gas best practice standards; and compliance to regulatory and legal frameworks.
- Implements key aspects of an audit framework to obtain reasonable assurance that the governance and control system of assigned departments/divisions are operating effectively, as required by regulations and that operations are carried out efficiently.
FUNCTIONS
- Reviews risk assessment studies conducted by government agencies and professional organizations to gauge the possible risk potential of the company and executes audits pertaining to same.
- Evaluates departmental/divisional compliance with regulations and controls by examining and analysing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation; recommending opportunities to strengthen the internal control structure.
- Evaluates that the NGC Group quality governance framework underpins all working practices within assigned departments/divisions.
- Undertakes investigations using Root Cause Analysis methodology and devises action plans as necessary.
- Provides support to CAE in the delivery of the NGC Group’s audit framework including operational, financial, quality and thematic audits in line with regulatory requirements.
- Identifies and evaluates the organisations risk areas and provides governance input into the development of the annual audit plan.
- Guides others in the evaluation and effectiveness of risk management, control and governance in a systematic and methodical manner.
