During Carnival week, this partnership saw that MC (and future MC cardholders) had the opportunity to be a part of our “Mastercard Moments and #PricelessToMe Tour” which included surprise/pop-up giveaways for select events and a chance to be on the road with Tribe or Harts and more.

Improving the digital payment landscape in Trinidad and Tobago
With an average of 50% of the people in the Caribbean region either unbanked or underbanked and with 80% of commercial transactions in Latin America and the Caribbean made via cash due to a lack of access to the banking system, our investments in major events and activities such as carnival will help us to raise awareness about the benefits of “cashless” and supporting the drive toward, and access to technology-based payment solutions.
